not a professional film critic, please forgive me if the writing is not good.
I vaguely remember watching the first Rocky when I was 17 years old.
When I was young, I just felt that since this movie is regarded as a classic, there must be something to be desired. To be honest, the first time I saw it, I didn't really feel how this movie was.
Learned a lot of backstory later and grew older. More and more I can appreciate the special and moving
feelings of this film. Let ’s get down to business. I saw some people on the Internet saying that this film was insincere. In the Rocky series, Rocky is forced by life and can only rely on boxing to make a living,
while Adonis grew up in a wealthy family and received a good education. Yet it is incomprehensible to give up a high-paying position to fight.
Actually, I understand this feeling very well. I used to be a taekwondo athlete myself. It stands to reason that my family is not bad, but in high school, I resolutely embarked on this road of no return in the eyes of ordinary Chinese. I haven't had much glory in my career. After retiring, I was left with only one injury and a small provincial bronze medal. But if you ask me if I regret it. I would say I have no regrets. Because this experience was made by myself without relying on anyone but my own will.
Don't you see, how many sons and daughters of Yangyang China can only follow the same confused path under the guidance of their parents. There are even jokes that African children don't know what happiness is, and American children don't know what pain is. Chinese children all know but do not know what their own opinions are.
I'm glad I lived my life on my own terms. And I'm happy to accept the consequences of what I do. I feel that this is arguably the most valuable asset of my life.
Speaking of movies, my only small regret about movies is that they fail to capture this pretense. The western world has concepts of id-ego and superego. In my opinion, Rocky's era is still the stage of id and ego. As Stallone said in the movie: I have to make a living. Very helpless. And Adonis in Creed could have lived a quiet life following the instructions of his adoptive mother. But he resolutely chose a path full of thorns. why? Is he stupid? No, he didn't know how much smarter he was than Rocky back then. Is he short of money? nor. Even if he was sitting in the office, the money he earned every month was what Rocky had to look up to. why? for their own spiritual world. For a sense of personal achievement. It's that simple.
People will always live in various pursuits in their life, but people are very lazy, they want to be at ease. Human beings are so paradoxical.
Tired people are lazy people, the old saying has been said.
In fact, many scientists in this world have actually made many great achievements because of their idleness in their life without food and clothing?
For example, Newton, this is a typical example of the great discovery of universal gravitation, which is a typical example of idle egg pain taking a nap under an apple tree.
If you want to live, you just need to be pushed around. The big deal is that if you don’t succeed, you will be crushed to death by various external pressures.
The most frightening thing is that you know you have a way out but you still want to succeed.
No one oppresses you, nothing oppresses you. You don't have to think about anything. How are you going to motivate you? How to keep you motivated? I think maybe that's why Rocky told Adonis that your worst enemy is yourself in the mirror.
Having said so much, I don't know how many people can see it here. These words are just my own words. If you like and agree. That's what makes me happiest. If you don't agree, hehe. The world is big. many people. You are not me after all. That's all.
