This is my first time writing a movie review, and here I want to discuss the plot and the issues that some people don't understand.

This classic sci-fi movie is a classic. The screenwriter's brains are wide open and the actors' true feelings are perfect. Last year, I watched the sci-fi masterpiece "Interstellar" of the same type, and I was also shocked.

This movie is different from other sci-fi movies, there are no aliens, no spaceships, not even space suits, almost everything happens on the ground, yet so close to the universe. In addition, it also added religious factors that other sci-fi films generally do not have, making science and religion have a strange collision, which is also one of the deeper experiences that I appreciate again after 9 years. Religion becomes more and more disturbing as we get closer to the reality of science, but science is endless, and religion still has a place in areas that science has not yet discovered.
In addition to the 18 hours of static recordings, there is some indirect evidence that the heroine has indeed experienced strange things. It means that the blueprints from alien creatures create a huge electromagnetic field - something that humans are still unable to do; there is also the black box of the cockpit, don't forget that all things in the sky have this thing, and it also follows the protagonist Traveling through the tunnel of time and space, you will not forget everything.

I also advise people who give such a classic movie a bad review if they don't understand it. You shouldn't watch this classic, this kind of brain hole is wide open, this kind of thing requires you to have rich experience, and you are willing to use your brain when watching it. Movies to think about, you can watch "Independence Day", "War of the World", "Pacific Rim", "Alien", "Predator", etc. This kind of simple and rude movie does not need to use your brain, really. I hope you don't defile the sacred scriptures of thinkers because of your ignorance

This movie is far more than just science fiction. The story itself has a distinct and strong world view. In fact, it is closely related to the science of consciousness (spiritual science). Interested fans can check out the original work of Carl Sagan’s "Universe" And that classic 13-episode documentary of the same name. If there is only us in the vast universe, it would be too wasteful of the universe and space. In fact, regardless of religion or science, one must believe in love! ★★★★

I marked it in 2014 and I finally watched it today. It does not lose its excitement as time goes by. Continue to call for Judy Foster.

  • Ellie Arroway: What I meant to say is that the message was written in the language of science. Now if it had been religious in nature it should have taken form of a burning bush or a big booming voice from the sky.

Palmer Joss: But a voice from the sky is exactly what you found, Dr Arroway!

  • Dr. Kent Clark: Uh... These are government-owned telescopes, they can lease them to whomever they want. And they don't want the high priestess of the desert using them anymore.

    Ellie Arroway: What?

Dr. Kent Clark: Staring at static on TV for hours at a time, listening to washing machines. Did you really think these stories wouldn't get out?

Ellie Arroway: I was looking for patterns in the chaos, come on!

Dr. Kent Clark: It doesn't matter anymore! We're a joke to them, they want us out.
