Who says blockbuster sequels are dog tail sequels?

Under the pressure of many people saying that this film is not good-looking, I watched it and didn't have much expectations, but felt that 2 was not bad.
This summer season has just begun, and many sequel films have already debuted first. Most of the sequel films have encountered a certain degree of indifference in word of mouth or at the box office. This is the norm. When many people watch the sequel, it is true that they are more or less not so friendly at the beginning, or that their expectations are too high, resulting in unsatisfied viewing expectations. In my opinion, why not relax, don't treat it as a continuation of the classic, but simply look at it as a new work, maybe have a different experience?
I will not comment on the plot of the movie itself, because I found that I have very few impressions of 1, so I am very happy with the surprise that 2 brought me.
I especially like many details in the film. The phrase "an eye for eye" runs through the theme of the whole film. After each climax, there is still a sense of darkness and darkness. This is the finishing touch of the film. .
In terms of actors, every actor's acting skills are online, which is a fact that need not be emphasized. The surprise was the appearance of Jay Chou and the Chinese old lady, which made 2 more Chinese elements, which I personally liked.
In terms of the storyline, my favorite highlight is the performance of "manipulating the raindrops" with a long face on the square towards the end. The moment the raindrops stopped, the camera focused on the raindrops wonderfully; and he finally jumped into the plot. The lens in the water, so cool~
