First Blood---for the real war

It's a long road
this road is so long
When you're on your own
when you are a person alone
And it hurts when they tear your dreams apart
they tore up your dreams
It's a real war
it was a real war
right outside your front door 'I tell you
it will take place at the door of your home
Out where they'll kill you
they really will kill you
when they drop first blood
when the first drop of blood shed
That's just the start of it
just beginning
day and night '
whether it is day or night
you got to fight to keep alive
you can only fight because you want to live

this is a long road, this is a real war. Rambo, who escaped from the Vietnam War prison camp and returned to the United States, had to face another war. The country for which the soldiers died abandoned them, and the people condemned them as killers. This is no longer Rambo's home.
The comrades in arms died one by one, their flesh and blood all over Rambo's body, Rambo could do nothing, nobody would help. Rambo can't forget the battlefield, can't live like a normal person, sometimes i wake up , i don't know where i am .
Rambo can't communicate with other people, because others only know that his hands are covered with blood, but they don't know how much blood he and his comrades have shed, and they don't know that they also long for a home like a normal person instead of endless killing - war Not only did it bring harm to them, but it also forced the malice of the people on them. A desperate Rambo turned his anger into a final indictment.
The first blood is just the beginning of the struggle. For Rambo, living is a war that will never end.

First Blood quotes

  • [Rambo takes over an Army truck]

    Rambo: Drive!

    [Army driver glances at him]

Rambo: Don't look at me, look at the road! That's how accidents happen.

    Rambo: [beat] What's your name?

    Guardsman #3: Cathcart, Robert A.

Rambo: What have you got in the back, Robert A?

    Guardsman #3: M-60

Rambo: [beat] Okay! Robert A! Get out of the truck!

Guardsman #3: Please. I got no beef with you.

Rambo: GO ON! Get out! Go home!

[throws Cathcart out of the truck]

  • State Police Capt. Dave Kern: Why didn't you leave the kid alone in the first place?

Teasle: Dammit, Dave, you think this kid just waltzed into town, announced he was a Medal Of Honor winner, and then I just leaned on him for the hell of it? I tried to do him a favor, I treated him like he was one of my neighbor's kids. I did my job, Dave, I booked him for vagrancy and resisting arrest.

State Police Capt. Dave Kern: You seem pretty motivated on this one.

Teasle: Why don't you go out there and take a look at what's left of my men? You'll see how motivated I am, Dave, and if that doesn't do it for you why don't you go have a talk with Art Gault's widow?

State Police Capt. Dave Kern: All right, Will, I read you. Listen, I got twenty-five men I can bring up from Monroe.

Teasle: [calming down] All right Dave, I can use them. We've got a lot of ground to cover.
