How immigrants, old and new, integrate into mainstream society is always a timeless topic. Europe has a tolerant attitude towards immigrants, opening the door to them, giving them a place to stay, and then it will be difficult to manage. After all, the three of them were like headless flies, wandering around Paris, gossiping, clashing with the police and running away. The anger escalated but was suppressed. In fact, Vincent really didn't have the courage to kill. But by accident, they offended a group of police, Vincent was killed by the police, and Hubert died with the police (maybe). Vincent was the one with the most concentrated anger. He pouted as if the whole world owed me. Huber is the most level-headed of the three. He runs gyms, helps his younger siblings, and is eager to catch up on the mainstream train. Shayi is like a bystander, constantly telling bad jokes, never knowing the state.
"The important thing is not to fall, but to land." This sentence is repeated three times in the movie, which is quite didactic. The story of the Russian short man appears in the middle as a metaphor: his friend froze to death on the Siberian steppe because he was afraid to pull on the "fig leaf" and couldn't catch the train. It is a metaphor for young people who are on the edge, maybe they should give up their extreme ideas, solve life problems first, and then talk about social justice, it is not too late. The cow in the film is the only peaceful thing in the noisy and slaughtered, symbolizing inner peace, and it was glimpsed in Vincent's line of sight, but he was still ignored by him.
From beginning to end, the film feels a sense of uncertainty. Although they smoked marijuana, stole things, made troubles, and quarreled, they all gave me the feeling of a young man looking for excitement rather than murderous malice. However, although there is no malice in this simmering porridge, it has the perfect conditions for violence - there is nowhere to go, but to escalate the hostile relationship with the police, as if the rat came to tease the cat and attracted the murderer Woe - after all, they have guns, you don't.
