The Magical Conception of Institutions - Naive Screenwriters and Powerless Story Foundations

I've watched two episodes, it's been half a month, and I'll write about my impressions based on my impressions.
I haven't watched the movie yet. The content of my YY movie is that among a group of capable people, a person with super-powerful abilities appears, and then "heterogeneous awakening", it is estimated that it is a war in the world of superpowers.
The beginning of the story surprised me. It was about a group of ordinary people who were imprisoned in the last remaining city in the world - but what was unusual was the system in which these people lived.
At first I would be drawn to these sectarian categories - Peaceful, Fearless, Wise, Selfless, Just. I thought to myself, this is an imaginary of the order of the world, right? Assuming that people are divided into groups, will it really be peaceful? So is this film meant to satirize the system of some countries?
But after thinking about it, tmd is really funny. This system doesn't work at all, right?
Forcing people to be classified into a few simple factions, the feasibility is simply 0.
First, human personality is very complex. When a person becomes an adult, does he know what he wants? If you find out later that you are not that kind of person, will you live with grievances for the rest of your life? You said that there is a machine that can judge a person's character, and you can choose based on this - this is the most funny thing. The character of a person can be calculated by percentage. Even if the machine is right, people will change! Personality isn't something that stays the same, isn't it? ? Can a machine predict the future of your life to be "100% pacifist"?
Second, the classification method. The funny thing is, I found out that the selfless faction and the peace faction, how to distinguish the characters of these two factions? All are good people. Everyone is helpful. Why can't the selfless people go to farming? Can the pacifists not govern? Of course, you can also explain that this may be a conspiracy - it is simply that the machine is leading people to misunderstand which faction their personality is suitable for.
Third, there is very little connection between factions presented in the film. We can see that the different factions live together. Everyone said that since they are classified, of course they have to live separately and perform their own duties. It's hilarious, I'd say that even if bone and flesh and blood are different components, they have to be connected to function. I don't usually communicate very much, except for a few words, such as the fearless faction is responsible for maintaining order (can't see it), the peace faction provides the material foundation for the city, and the selfless faction is in power, but they don't dig deeply. This would have been a good subject.
The biggest feeling after watching the movie is to over-exaggerate the experience of the heroine as a hero. At first glance, isn't this the heroine of the hunter game? It means that she is special, and it means that she is hope. Then the heroine went through the test of the fearless faction, and these tests were boring and uninteresting.... (I feel that the test accounts for a large part of the movie story...) The setting of this heroine makes me feel good about the heroine. The Lord didn't like it at first. It can only be said that the special effects team is great, and it has nothing to do with the heroine.
At the end of writing, I would like to remind myself of three points, which you can also refer to.
First, if you take it too seriously, you will lose. A story is a story, and any loopholes are in the needs of the story and can be ignored in scope.
Second, a movie is always a movie, maybe someone else's novel is very complete. Here I am only reviewing movies.
Third, the experimental results of the excellent quality classification are good. Indeed, this system is actually a big experiment. Come to think of it, it wouldn't be a bad thing if a world was always emphasizing five or even a few good qualities and using them to categorize them. But the premise of classification is not to obliterate human nature - people are diverse and not static - so in the end, it is actually a good thing that people actually fight for more good qualities.
Still, this movie doesn't work. I have no desire to read novels at all.

The Divergent Series: Insurgent quotes

  • Tris: Our parents would be ashamed of you.

Caleb: Well, maybe not. I mean, I am willing to sacrifice you, the only family I have left, the only person I love, in order to preserve what's best for everyone else. What's more selfless than that?

  • Tris: What are you doing here?

    Four: You die, I die.

Peter: Oh. Okay, guys, come on. Let's go, seriously. We can do that later.
