I am the presiding judge

It is also a textbook horror film that teaches the audience to cherish life. However, for this prestigious film, I may have too high expectations and too much psychological preparation, which led to a slight disappointment when I watched it.
The presiding judge behind this did not cause a lot of psychological attacks on people, and even as a patient whose life is about to end, his power is too strong, I have to say, I think this is not very scientific. Looking at the previous victims, the victimization process is an opportunity to increase the horror of the film, but I chose a performance technique that the general audience does not understand (well, such as me), that kind of fast-forward playback, let me play I couldn't help laughing while watching a thriller...Look at the two male protagonists in the film, Adam and Lawrence, a grumpy young man and a calm doctor. I thought there would be more conflicts between them, but the result is the truth, goodness and beauty in the world! Offering help to each other, the "presiding judge" used the lives of Lawrence's wife and daughter as a threat, but still did not let him break through the bottom line of human nature and kill Adam. And what this "presiding judge" did was itself contradictory. In my opinion, everyone he "judges", no one is damned. As a person whose life is about to end, he can end other people's lives at will under the great banner of letting others cherish life? This is just to satisfy his narrow desire of a dying person who wants to have the power of "God" once. Punish for God, forgive for God! In his heart, it is nothing but a nostalgia for his own life, a kind of anti-human personality triggered by fear of death. Therefore, the teaching of this film is not deep enough for me, and it is not so reasonable to teach people to cherish life itself.
But it is not to say that this film is useless. It is also unique in that it can get so much praise. At the beginning of the film, the key was lost under water. The doctor explained his analysis of the incident, leading the police to suspect him from some of his personal belongings. When he was giving lectures, the nurse interrupted him and the female students looked at him. , As well as the police’s analysis of the criminal’s characteristics, etc. These clues are also answered one by one later, but it is precisely this kind of clues that can be seen at a glance, but it is not brain-burning enough and can only be used as a passing point. Speaking of the last, I think the most exciting point of the film is the hiding method of the "presiding judge". The police said that criminals like to observe the victim up close, and the previous cases were indirect observations, so people who have already existed in this space are ignored. I have to say that the handling of this point is still very clever. And the film seems to have an open ending. Was Adam rescued? What is the end of the doctor? It is also a good psychological attack. I personally speculate that according to the past habit of the "presiding judge", when he feels that this person has learned to cherish his life, it means that as a "God" forgiving this person, it should be possible to save him. However, I really don't understand whether the doctor is dead or alive in the end.
Well, the above words of a small audience who loves horror films are really not enough to influence the classics of this film. Haha, if you don't agree, please don't refute me, I won't agree with you anyway. But if anyone speculates on the doctor’s outcome, please let me know! Thanks!
