Lawrence, what kind of person he is, I think, at the end of everyone's comments can be found, about his criticism, about his praise, can only be commented by history. Perhaps, for the Arabs, he was a spiritual leader. He told them that miracles can happen, that there is no impossible truth. Chicken soup is the same fact. When a person sees the world he is about to come to with understanding and reverence, I think he is halfway there. Therefore, it is only natural that Lawrence can gain the trust of the Arabs. This trust is pure trust, not political trust. Arabia is a pure nation, as far as ordinary tribes are concerned, they have inexplicable trust in those who lead them out of the path of miracles.
I was moved by the tears in the movie. Ali's tears, the captain's tears, their tears of disillusionment, their heartache for Lawrence. The movie handles the details so delicately, and thus implicitly the ending of the story. We don't have to guess, we don't have to see it, but the fact is that it happens with certainty. The movie adopts a loop mode, and the end can be connected to the beginning. It seems to be a kind of prophecy. The story is indeed a loop. From leaving to returning, Lawrence did not fulfill his dream, but who can say, is he a failure?
