Beyond the end of addiction

A small policeman who was isolated from the sewage-flowing police world because of his integrity and justice, and a black boss who was excluded from the gang society because of his black identity. One righteous and one evil person has the same sad and desolate situation that is regarded by the same race as a different kind. When people cherish each other because of a common encounter, it is easy to think of the last tragic ending of the killer and the police in "Blood Two Heroes". But the combination of Lucas and Roberts in this film gave us a completely unexpected reunion ending. Roberts used Lucas’ testimony to successfully testify against the bribery and crimes of more than 150 public officials in the police department’s anti-narcotics department, as well as other gang members of the government. Destroying the drug kingdom in New York and the corrupt networks of the government and the police in one fell swoop is really pleasing. Roberts, who was converted from a policeman to a lawyer, succeeded in reducing Lucas’s 70-year imprisonment to 15 years. When Lucas was released from prison after serving his sentence, the two were drinking coffee while walking on the streets of New York, just like two old friends. This black and white finally achieved the peace and happiness that they deserved. There was no ending. Falling into the cliché that a hero must end in tragedy is very powerful and enjoyable, good people get rewards, bad people go to hell.
