There is a very big bug in the play. The aristocrat that Robin Hood pretends to be, that is, Marion's husband, is the number one (seems to be the only) aristocrat in the locality. How could such a prominent person be impersonated? At that time, the mobility of residents in that kind of village and town was very low.
