American Anti-Japanese Character Documentary, the first part is how the male protagonist grows from a persevering little boy who was excluded into an American long-distance runner when he was a child; the second part is how the male protagonist survives at sea after the plane crashed after joining the army; the third part is after being captured How the male protagonist persevered under the abuse of the Japanese, and finally returned home to reunite with his family. At the last minute, he used subtitles and pictures to say that the male protagonist forgave the Japanese bababa and so on. The United States also has a main theme, and the male protagonist is Gao Daquan... There is not much description of the cruelty of the Japanese, the US-Japan alliance, it is estimated that those American soldiers who died in the prison camp Izumi would have jumped up with anger, if the director was Angie, I'm afraid I won't watch it...

Conjecture 1: The reason why the radio and television was introduced may be because this film is also an anti-Japanese film to some extent. Conjecture 2: How many times did Director Jolie watch "Forrest Gump" when filming the running sequence, and how many times "Youth Pi" when filming water rafting? Conjecture 3: Watanabe Nagano should really love Louis Zamperini! ... 1. Is this really a script written by the Coen brothers? 2. Deakins' photography is really good, the rafting part is beautiful! 3. The actors in this film are really lucky.

I don't understand why this film is so highly rated. There is no important point, and I don't know what to express. If it's just showing someone's indestructible personal will, it really has nothing to do with me. To say that the war is cruel, it seems that the Japanese is more silly and perverted. To say that the protagonist is strong-willed, the people in the entire concentration camp seem to be living very hard. In short, the pace is slow and the plot is light, plus I don’t like war.

Unbroken quotes

  • Phil: Remember that story in LIFE magazine? about Eddie Richenbacker? Him and his crew ran out of fuel over the Pacific and were drifting in a raft for twenty-four days... twenty-four days.

Louis Zamperini: They made it, right?

Phil: Yeah... most of them lost their minds, but they made it.

Phil: [in cockpit] We are here.

Cup: [over radio] At 8,000 feet. This is it, boys.

Phil: [over radio] You got it, Zamp?

Louis Zamperini: [dialing in bombing scope] Roger.

Lambert: You hit this one, drinks are on me.

Louis Zamperini: I ain't going to a bar with you, handsome. You confuse all the broads.

    Mac: [wolf-whistles]

Phil: Get your cameras, boys. I'm gonna light it up like Christmas.
