Two places of heartache and touch

The heartache is the quarrel between Joey and his mother.

When my mother yelled out these words sadly and angrily, it made me cry directly. Joey thought it was just her misfortune, but for her parents. , Isn't it? Faced with the sudden disappearance of their seventeen-year-old daughter, the panic, anxiety, anticipation and waiting they experienced have also spread over the past seven years, not to mention the broken marriage during the period. Joey's father hugged and cried the moment he saw his daughter. He kept saying I'm sorry when explaining that he had separated from his mother. At the dinner table where Jack was still unable to face Jack, his anxiety was like the deep wrinkles on his forehead that hadn't been relaxed for a moment. A family has long been a stubborn bond. If any one person fails, the others will not be better off.

The most touching part is at the end. Jack bids farewell to the objects in the room in turn.

I

have to say that Jack acted very well, whether it was to entertain himself in a closed room or the moment he saw the world. His surprise, panic, and fear, or his later communication and integration with society, are remarkable. And the last scene shows the child's innocence to the fullest. This place that brought his mother’s family painful memories, in his eyes, was just the whole world before he was five years old. He loved the tables and chairs there, loved him and his mother’s crib, and loved Nick when he came. A closet that had to hide in. In his small world, he knows little and knows little, but he has a wild imagination, the joy of having a candy, a cake and a toy car. There is no world, but there is a mother.

The whole movie looks at society from the perspectives of children and adults. Children have simple minds, innocent and lovely, plastic and adaptable; while adults are mature and complex and sensitive, it is extremely difficult to adapt to a society that has been isolated for many years. Fortunately, at the end of the film is still happyending, allowing the audience to see the warmth and hope of this unfortunate family.

Room quotes

  • Old Nick: What's that smell?

Ma: Sorry, I burned some cheese. Here. I just wasn't thinking.

Old Nick: Well, thinking is not your strong suit.

  • Ma: [about the mouse] He's on the other side of this wall.

    Jack: What other side?

Ma: Jack, there's two sides to everything.

    Jack: Not on an octagon.

    Ma: Yeah, but...

Jack: [Interrupts] An octagon has eight sides

Ma: But a wall, okay, a wall's like this, see? And we're on the inside and mouse is on the outside.

    Jack: In outer space?

Ma: No, in the world. It's much closer than outer space.

    Jack: I can't see the outside-side.

Ma: Listen, I know that I told you something else before, but you were much younger. I didn't think that you could understand, but now you're so old, you're so smart. I know that you can get this. Where do you think that old Nick gets our food?

    Jack: From TV by magic!
