This rescue was really a happy ending and everyone was safe. The protagonist began to help the Soviet spy to alleviate the unfair punishment just to maintain justice, so he was hated by the whole country.
It was also because of his daring actions that he went to East Germany to negotiate with the Soviet Union to free the hostages, and his sense of justice came out again in the middle of the hierarchy. Even if he risked the breakdown of the negotiations, he had to bring back an ordinary American scholar. Because his sense of justice was finally understood by the people of the country.
This story also taught us that all problems can be solved with patience and persistence, not with force. Although it is not easy, we have to persevere. The protagonist Zhenren also rescued many hostages in a negotiation with Cuba.
