watched a TED talk, only to realize that there are some people in the world whose sexual characteristics are not as simple and rough as men and women, but have complex external and internal differences. Also saw many speeches and activities of the same-sex and intersex groups that have become more common in China in recent years. Made me realize the complexity of people themselves and between people. And expressing your true self is a trend that is different from accepting it. No matter what you think, you have to accept it. Those "different" people may be right there with you, hiding your pain or fleeing far away.
The film tells the story of a man who has been confused for so many years and finally understands who he wants to be. His desire to be a woman stemmed from his inner calling since childhood. And in the end she died as a woman. While attracted and moved by the story, she realized that her heart had already existed as a woman, but society could not tolerate a male body to do everything that a woman can do, and she could only turn her body into a female structure. To survive in society, she is also so deeply influenced by society. One of the things that makes the film so well is that she's equally able to enjoy the pleasure of a male body and to have sex and love with a woman before she realizes her inner drive. Maybe it's because the film and actors' scenes are so well shot that I can feel the deep love between the two. I heard from a friend in psychology before that everyone is bisexual. In fact, just like gender, simple and rude divisions and simple and rude types of sexual impulses have caused many people to put labels on themselves. Maybe most people put on the appropriate relatively comfortable label without realizing it, but there are always people whose label is reluctantly inappropriate. Labels are just another form of obstruction and limitation.
Just imagine, a world without gender and sexuality, there will be many interesting things happening, you can be free to be yourself, how wonderful it will be to open your heart to embrace the world.
