Shisanshiro is sometimes shy, sometimes impulsive, sometimes weak, and sometimes strong, just like Akira Kurosawa described himself when he was young in his autobiography. The difference is that one is kendo and the other is judo, both of which are both ways to make people stronger and grow. The description of human psychology is relatively straightforward. The film feels very smooth, and in order to increase the delicate feelings of the characters, some still life close-ups will be added. Zushi Sanshiro is also the person the director wants to be. He is obsessed with movies, respects teachers and respects Taoism, and has clear love and hate.
