Even if I'm not a fan of the original animation TV, I can still see the obvious difference between the new theatrical version and the old one, as if IG Production, which was the mainstay of Japan in the past, also sank to the horizon with the afterglow of the rising sun. In recent years, there has been less animation. I don't know that Japanese animations have begun to change their style like the new "EVA" theatrical version. Slowly, the thick animation brushstrokes familiar from the 1990s on the screen have been captured by electronically drawn new century two-dimensional portraits. Instead, the younger sister, whose bangs were cut short, was completely out of style in an instant, and she looked like a young middle school younger sister.

The most fascinating aspects of Attack in the Shell are politics, apocalyptic science, and philosophy, all of which are present in this film, but each one is so deplorable. First of all, politics is the worst part of the film, and the whole conspiracy is neither brilliant nor noble. The second is the science of the end of the world. Except for the repeated appearance of the soul room, the movie basically does not have any eye-catching high-tech. The most talked about is the big iron man fighting the big iron man. The last is the most important philosophy, probably because the movie didn’t really start to systematically “break the shell” before the TV, and the discussion on GHOST is close to zero. It's not the focus of discussing ethics and the definition of AI, and in this regard, this episode has lost most of its topicality.

However, compared to the "mobile police" I watched half a month ago, it is still much better to attack the shell, so the animators should still concentrate on doing animation, and don't want to do any mixed business.

At the end of the film, Kusanagi replays the exact same aerial shooting in "The Puppet Master". In addition to paying tribute to the 25th anniversary, the audience must be looking forward to not just revisiting the classics, but a new theatrical version whose quality is comparable to the old one.

It's okay, keep your opinion, don't like it.
