Girl Problems

“Georgina lies only to people who keep her
Pollys sweetness and purity arent genuine at all, but a desperate attempt to make it easier to look at her
Others bein villains, Susanna always the sweet pea, everybody congratulates all her bravery
Lisa keeps comin back just to feel alive"

"The world is not full of lies, you just don't see the hypocritical side of yourself"

I would prefer to see this movie as a continuation and exaggeration of teenage gal problems. To be able to see the shadows of some of the pain or struggle that I have grown up is more like the story of another prominent character The Virgin Suicide. But the focus of the movie is still on the diagnosis of mental illness in the 1960s. The confrontation between individuality and public choice is not deep enough, the characters are not full enough, and some logic is not clearly explained. Fortunately, there are actors who can hold up some scenes.
Its alright, babe, its cool

Insanity is not about breaking down or keeping a dark secret alone, but simply because we magnify ourselves and ignore the world. I like Lisa very much, and it looks familiar, but I never found out that it was Julie. . . . . Self-poking binocular

The passion of youth and the radicality of the age are so well combined that psychosis is more of a proof of the existence of the soul. However, just as society will eventually become calm and conservative, many mental disorders will also be cured, and those who cannot or will not be cured will either die or be exiled for life. But who will sing the dirge? There are many who suffer from consumption.

  • Susanna: [about Daisy] Has she come down yet?

Lisa: No... But she's been playing that SHIT ALL MORNING!
