It was recommended to me by an old friend.

Our high school classmates. From the moment I knew him, I felt that he had a special temperament-----not eating human fireworks.

After learning to paint together, he returned to Qingdao and went to study in France. I always felt that he spoke to us as politely as he was trained to speak, and his words didn't seem to have such a simple meaning.

When he recommended this film to me, he exclaimed that he agreed with everything expressed in it. I saw this movie and realized that it is a satire of society forcing young people to marry. And then I learned that he himself was facing the fact that he was about to get married. hehe.

This "Lobster" is undoubtedly a great satire on today's society. Those who think that monogamy is shameful and that a pair is perfect is finally betrayed by their loving partner; those who strongly support single abstinence , and was eventually killed by a former supporter who was dissatisfied with what she had done.

But... In the end, when the two who have developed feelings for each other walk out of this monotonous and cruel world, when they see that they may be happy, can one and the other face the difficulties of the future together-- The male protagonist considers himself not to blind himself because his girlfriend is blind... Became the last scene of the film's abrupt end...

To be honest, I only understand the first half of this movie .

In today's more economically developed places, the age of marriage is also getting older, and unmarried adults in their thirties are more and more common. In a huge city, it is not easy to find a person who is similar to you, and people are more self-seeking. Now, when you have no worries about food and clothing, who would feel wronged for the sake of getting married and for the other half? Many people understand this truth, but more people are just living a good life without thinking about why society has such a mainstream value, and why can’t we despise such values? The director of "The Lobster" apparently gave these mundane middle fingers fiercely. Film is his artistic expression.

Later, I was surprised by the news of my friend's marriage. He still replied me with meaning: this matter is more complicated, not what I want. You have to hold on...

well, I'll try my best...^-^
