My focus is on people

I watched the US version first. The movie is set for 1995.
There is a lot of interaction between the professor and Xiao Ba, and the professor's family is very kind. The first time the daughter saw Xiaoba, she said, "This dog is so cute, can you stay?" The professor said, "I want to ask your mother's opinion." It gave the impression that the family was very harmonious. Although the hostess was frightened by the dog several times and could see that she did not like dogs, she did not express any obvious dissatisfaction.
The humorous and good-natured professor passed away in class, and everything Xiaoba did was touching. So in this play, my focus is on Xiao Ba, this is really a love and righteous little animal!

Looking at the Japanese version, it was shot 11 years earlier than the American version, but it was set in the turbulent period of 1928.
The picture quality of the whole film looks very dark, depressing, and very deserted. The American version of the sun is shining and the leaves are falling. There is nothing here, only wind and rain.
The professor's family in the film does not feel very harmonious, and Qianzuruzi seems to want to leave the family. And the reason why the professor's wife didn't like Ah Ba in their house turned out to be "I don't want to share all your love with this dog", uh... This vinegar is really weird. The professor's wife, who seemed to love her husband very much, finally came out. Her feelings for the professor are not as good as those of Aba...
Besides, Qianhezi, this girl is not good, she is the one who wants Aba, and she is the one who doesn't (after she got married, the professor said that Qianhe The reason why Zi didn't want to take Ah Ba was because she didn't want to spread her love, she wanted to love her foreign ministry husband with all her heart) - the mother and daughter portrayed in this play kept saying love, but they didn't know what love was. Later, after the professor passed away, Qianhezi didn't want to come back to live with her mother, because "I'm afraid of thinking about my father." This sentence gives the impression that she never wants to come back here again, as if her father treated her very badly, especially. strangeness. This woman showed more than that. After her mother lived with her, when her husband came back from get off work, she served him for dinner. When it was raining, her husband asked, "How's it going?" The professor's wife said I gave him away. Now, Qianhezi didn't respond at all—a person who didn't have any contact with the dog would ask, except for the professor's coffin when she glanced at Ba Ba, she didn't think of Ba Ba at all, it was really cool.

There is at least some warmth around Xiao Ba in the American version, and everyone treats it not badly.
But the Japanese version of Hachi was miserable. After being sent away a few times, the treatment was like heaven and earth, and no one cared about it when it rained. This difference probably made Hachi miss the old master even more. Professor On a rainy night, give up the sofa to Ahba, and sleep on the ground by himself.
Ah Ba's desolation is more than that. When he returns to the professor's house, the new owner is an unreasonable and unreasonable turtle who always wants to beat him. He returned to the servant's house, which had been rented to someone else long ago, and the new owner threw it with stones to drive it away...
Ah Ba really became a stray dog.
The small vendors at the station are too busy to take care of themselves, and they can bring ham to Ah Ba when they can, which makes people feel warm. He also fights with customers for Ah Ba.
Ah Ba finally squatted on the ground and couldn't get up again... The whole film is filled with suppressed sadness. In this film, the focus is not entirely on Ah Ba, the people and society around Ah Ba are probably what the director wants to express.
