sunset song

1. There is a signboard of the heroic character, but the content has nothing to do with the first two episodes of the heroic character. I don't know if it is a compromise of business.

2. There are many Vietnamese in the Hong Kong art scene. The director of this film is Tsui Hark, so is the other director Chen Kexin, and the actor Lu Liangwei...etc. In the history of Hong Kong, the wave of Vietnamese refugees was a major event, no less than the current wave of European refugees. Therefore, there are many movies about Vietnam in Hong Kong movies, such as Xu Anhua's "Departing to the Furious Sea" earlier, John Woo's "Blood on the Street", etc.

3. Regarding political metaphors, it is quite obvious. At first there was a mass demonstration as the brothers crossed the square, then the army came and shot two schoolgirls by mistake. The tank appeared twice, and both were shot upwards. The long barrel of the gun means obviously that the Vietnam incident in the movie often makes Hong Kong people worry about their future. This is also the reason why literary and artistic films like Departing to the Furious Sea were extremely high at the box office.

4. Among the actors, Chow Yun-fat and Tony Leung Ka Fai did not perform well, and Anita Mui was average. I think Shi Jian was the best performer. The part where the suitcases were separated when leaving Vietnam and the feeling of rootlessness after arriving in Hong Kong was really touching.

Amwayed by that sunset song https://douc.cc/3JKZio Mr. Xu is an overseas Chinese in Vietnam. Could the story of the movie be Mr. Xu's own story, or the story he saw in Vietnam..... ...I'm more concerned about what happened to Zhou Yingjie, maybe he's still alive... Hope for world peace

I always think that there are only two kinds of people who say this is a bad movie: 1. Not enough action scenes; The overseas Chinese under the war are so meaningful that Tsui Hark is so meaningful, and its significance has long exceeded the commercial series.
