Ricky Chicory’s film has a tone that is recognized , this "Secret Agent" may not be the best work of the style master, but it is one of my favorite works. Not to mention, the appearance and figure of the two male protagonists are absolutely crushed in similar films of the same period! ! ! ! ! As a straight face control, the whole film is full of benefits! I must sigh that Comrade Superman showed his proud cup when he was bound! Add chicken thighs to Richie Endive and Photographer!
Let's get to the point, cough, cough - actually, the plot of this film is not too worth mentioning, but chicory has the magic power of turning boiled water into fine wine. This magic mainly comes from the form of the film, including the manipulation of light and shadow, soundtrack, mirroring (split screen), and rhythm. In general, "Secret Agent" is light-hearted, making full use of and subtly diluting stereotypes, making the whole film show a unique charm in the absence of large-scale visual bombing. The successful example of the film is also a work that combines the two forms of popular culture, film and comics. The one that strikes me the most is "Contrast Moe".
Character contrast: The two male protagonists have distinct characteristics as soon as they appear on the stage. The two people with different camps, positions, personalities, and behaviors have gone from confrontation to cooperation through dramatic chases, and they easily grabbed our hearts in the opening part. There is no CP like a textbook! Lovers of loyal dogs, queens, abstinence, lasciviousness, and arrogance can take what they want, and match them freely~ Then there is the daily black big brother>
Contrast of editing/narrative clues: "Contrast" is everywhere in the whole film. Through cross-editing, the two narrative clues are synchronized with the division and integration of the two male protagonists. Frequent fast cuts give people an obvious sense of time and space compression, which improves the information transmission efficiency of the film, and also enables the audience to more effectively experience the concepts of "tension", "opposition" and "contradiction". The male protagonist accepts the paragraphs of the boss's instructions respectively. The passage of the motorboat breaking out of the siege directly brings the two male protagonists into the same shot. Through the dramatic contrast of movement and stillness, the different behaviors of the US and Soviet agents are highlighted in a joking way, and it also implies that the situation is under control. . haven’t been sprouted by a certain movie for a long time. The Secret Agent is undoubtedly a successful commercial work. It appears in the context of repeated references to the "New Cold War", but it calmly avoids conflicts and writes a fairy tale of understanding and cooperation; many elements of popular culture. Some viewers may suspect that a film like "Secret Agent" has more form than content, but I want to say that the form and content of the film are inseparable. The key is how to tell the story, not what story you tell. Facts have proved that the former often more important than the latter. Salute to Richie Chicory again, and my generation has already been fanned by ARMY, I really still like the shy Tsundere Wakaka~~~~
