I went to watch maze runner 2 with super high expectations, because the sense of unknown and freshness at the time of 1 made me look forward to the sequel of this film.
But the fact is like a prison break. After stepping out of the labyrinth, everything returned to Hollywood-style narrative methods and scenes, and even made me think that his plot was a fusion of escape from the clone island and Resident Evil.
When Thomas and the others run out of the maze, it will be a plot of the gods and horses. I also imagined that
they will fall into another cage of wicked. After all, the first part has already given us such a foreshadowing. After I thought I was going to fall into another big brain-burning maze, I thought the lower part would emphasize the balabala of Thomas's design of the maze when he was a member of WICKED. . . .
However, the fact is that Thomas escaped from the base with his friends, encountered a lot of madmen (that is, zombies) and then went to the end of the road to prevent himself from being infected by zombies, and also to prevent WICKED from being found.
In the process, there are also many shocking scenes, such as Minho being struck by lightning, but not burned to death, he wakes up after shaking. . . . It really made me want to cry, even though I really liked this character in the first part.
And the heroine, Thomas and Teresa, I don't think the scene of their love is described, or they were lovers before they lost their memory? The scene of imagining kissing or something after that makes people feel a little inexplicable. . .
Another point is that the foreshadowing of the movie is too early and too obvious. I almost saw a few close-up shots of Teresa and knew that in the end, he must have turned the whole team into a hole, which may make the movie feel unknown and uncomfortable. Much less stimulation.
And the biggest feeling about this movie is that the movie has been increasing the tension of the movie through zombies, rather than through the rhythm of the plot. Make the whole movie look like a horror movie. . .
How to say the difference between the look and feel of the first part and the second part is too big, maybe the requirements for the third part can be lowered~~
It hasn't appeared in China yet, but everyone really don't have too much expectation of him~~
