Judging from the situation at the end of the first season, Agent Ward is almost written as a dispensable character for the whole play, who can take a lunch and leave at any time. Starting in the middle, after changing the setting of the cold face agent at the beginning, this character becomes very annoying. The introduction of the shadow of childhood is also abrupt. The swinging between good and evil should have made this person more three-dimensional and more potential, right? Unfortunately, we can only see a little white face who follows the old leader without a brain and who thinks himself a lover from time to time. It can only be said that the actor Ward is not likable, the plot clues are hesitant, and the whole setting is lackluster. Trip's scenes rose from the ground in the last few episodes, and it may also be ready for a lineup update.
In any case, this show is indeed an important addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Joss Wheden has generally been successful in planning the overall storyline. Many critics pointed out that most of the single episodes were not directed by Joss, and questioned that the show could not be counted as Joss's work - because it would be better if he directed it. But I don't think he can deny his credit for the overall production. From the very beginning, he has not turned this drama into a Conan-style 20-unit small case + 1 major case. The clues are intertwined, and the conspiracy ends from one. Of course, the shaping of individual characters and the development of the plot are quite disappointing. For example, the soy sauce superpower villain group, and the fake love saint Ward. It's just a Marvel-esque superhero series after all.
In addition, I selfishly think this show is still branded as Joss Wheden. Coulsen's "Bus" is like a new Serenity, maybe it's Lord Joss's complex, make up for Firefly's regrets, let a team of crew support each other, set sail again, and find a sense of belonging. The last piece of evidence also fulfilled a guess. The older brother that the fat agent said was playing online games together was indeed twins! And Joss Wheden likes to use twins (or clones) in every show!
