Shooting a series of films is like traveling against the current. The previous sequels are mixed, such as Mission Impossible 2 and 3. I personally feel that the story is not attractive enough. Although the fighting scenes are still wonderful, they cannot conceal the paleness of the movie itself. Mission Impossible 4 added a new member, Jeremy Renner, and added comedy elements, which is refreshing. Recently released Mission Impossible 5, the plot rhythm is well controlled, one after another, and there are almost no cold spots or dull places. But looking at the whole film, there are still three shortcomings.
The first is the logical flaws of the plot. The British infiltrated the terrorist organization, and the undercover female agents released Ethan time and time again, or went too close to Ethan, which did not make the old Boss hurt the killer. In the end, the female agent was posed by her superiors, and the secret files of the terrorist organization in her hand were secretly deleted. After she fell into the hands of the old Boss, she was not rectified on the spot, but the old Boss, who was tortured by inner conflicts, squeezed her face, which made people have to think about the relationship between the female agent and the old Boss. Maybe this is the director's. The foreshadowing is also unknown.
The second is that the design of the bridge section for stealing the secret files of terrorist organizations is too ordinary, and the task is not too difficult. It is as amazing as the room full of sensors when you enter it upside down through the air vent without the first one.
The third is that the reversal in the ending was not unexpected enough. It may be that Jeremy Renner has a good face. At the end, the screenwriter originally wanted to use his pretended betrayal to achieve a subsequent reversal. But helplessly, the film has laid a lot of unbreakable comradeship between Jeremy Renner and Tom, which makes Jeremy Renner's pretended surrender in the ending unreliable. The subsequent reversal is simply expected, and it is not surprising. Feel.
Despite being so picky, the viewability of the whole film is still very high. Among them, the shots of picking up airplanes and motorcycles were taken by Lao Tang himself, and his degree of professionalism is awe-inspiring. In today's Chinese film circle, which relies on brain-powered fans and Ma Zhen to fight for the box office, it is already a mainstay and a clear spring in the turbid stream. Anyway, entering the movie theater is all cheating, just for the signs of Mission Impossible and Old Tang, you can't buy it at a loss, you can't buy it.
