He turned around and smiled

I've met many people, I've been to many places; I've said goodbye to many people, and I've been to many places. No matter how beautiful it is, like a sunny day, it will end; no matter how beautiful it is, like a rainy day, it will stop. Even if the story is beautiful and picturesque, we all know that, no matter what, the meeting is only a short stay. Tomorrow's you and I will no longer be what we are today, and today's sympathy will not spark tomorrow's sparks. And without you, I wouldn't be what I am now.

The melodious and slightly sad cello sets off the worldly exaggerated guitar very low. The considerate concern of the boy gentleman makes the ex-boyfriend's rude and brutal behavior very rude. "If somebody doesn't treat you that you are deserved, then he doesn' t deserve you." Many times we live numbly, try to change each other, learn to be patient after ineffectiveness, but forget to ask ourselves if we deserve better. Like falling into a well, I tried desperately to explore in the dark, but I never came out and re-examined my surroundings.

Like Sunday, Like Rain, turned around and smiled.

Like Sunday, Like Rain quotes

  • Eleanor: What was the name of that piece you wrote for the recital?

    Reggie: Like Sunday, Like Rain.

    Eleanor: So beautiful.

Reggie: I'll write a part for the cornet.

  • Reggie: You have a gift, and you have an obligation to take care of it.

Eleanor: What are you *talking* about? For all you know, I could be the worst cornet player in the whole world.

Reggie: I don't think so. I don't think you'd have been chosen for that all star band if that were the case. And you certainly wouldn't have gotten into Julliard. It's a crime to deprive the world of your art.

Eleanor: I thought you said art was dead.

Reggie: Yes, and it will remain that way if all the great artists abandon their cornets and move to Idaho... Just promise me you'll come back to it. Promise me you'll come back to your music.

Eleanor: I will if you will.

    Reggie: Deal.
