Xiao Huang's journey to find the Lord

As a prequel to the successful 3D animated film despicable me.
Minions, another very typical (according to wikipedia) family comedy animation. Therefore, I think everyone should maintain the same entertainment spirit as before, and just have a good laugh after watching it.
It is precisely because there is nothing worth pondering over, so today I will share some small details and historical details that I accidentally discovered while watching the movie.
(ok, I thought about it, this should be a little spoiler, but some content should help to understand some

jokes ) 1. First of all, the theme song of Universal at the beginning is sung by five cute minions. This is used in many Hollywood animation movies, such as bart simpson at the beginning of "The Simpsons" singing the theme music of 20th Century Fox, you can consider making a small collection in the future, haha.

2. At the beginning of the movie, because the minion evolved from a single cell, and the big bosses that follow are all changed by the rise of the food chain. This is undoubtedly reminiscent of a very classic stand-alone game "Spore". Interested students can consider playing it. The beginning is very similar.

3. As the voice-over continues to state, the Minions in the picture lead the audience to start a magical journey of changing bosses. From T.Rex Tyrannosaurus rex, to cave dwelling humans in the Stone Age, from Egyptian pharaohs in ancient civilizations, to Count Dracula in the dark middle ages (although I don’t know how the 357th birthday is calculated, maybe in order to add humans Decades to get together for four hundred years), and finally, just like a generation of hero Napoleon to play in the winter of Russia. It really responds to the old saying on the Internet for several years: I am afraid of "servants" like pigs.

4. Along with the cheerful melody of we wish you a merry christmas, the minions who are gradually overwhelmed and unable to find their purpose in life have gone from the excitement of finding safety to the emptiness without a master later. This may be the ultimate in cheap bones. But still cute and silly.

5. When Kevin came to New York with the two treasures he had to choose, the first thing that sounded was the music with a sense of the times, accompanied by the very sensitive 1968 America. You can see that the overall restoration is still very good. In the United States where the civil rights revolution emerged, a large number of hippies, yuppie movements, large-scale black civil rights movements, feminist movements, and gun and drug chaos flourished. This is also the people who marched inside shouting make love, no war, peace to the world. . . This kind of similar manifestation also appeared later. Among them, a hippie on the road in a Wenqing dress gave a thumbs up to hitchhike, and the models were all restored very well, a classic small RV (there is a similar scene in Forrest Gump). Is the bank robbery family also setting off the era of the proliferation of guns?

6. LOV.2.ROB's license plate is very eye-catching, but the old beauty is humanized, and the license plate gives certain customization rights. Not as rigid as we are, I remembered that I saw a license plate B0M13 in Phoenix when I was out looking for a berth a few days ago. I was shocked when I saw it, it was a B0MB (bomb), and I had to stay away from him.

7. It has to be said that the foreshadowing of Hollywood movies is well done. At the Badass Convention, a 2 second shot of Gru and his mom watching Dr. Nefario perform the cryo gun. This also explains how gru freezes scarlet with a cryo gun at the end of the credits, forming an echo. This point should also be praised by the way in "The Return of the Great Sage". At the beginning, the stone lion ball that was broken by the mason in Jiang Liu's naughty chase scene was given to Jiang Liu's master to replace the stone lion ball with a bald head when the mountain demon invaded the town. Made a good layup. It seems that our production is also attentive.

8. The doctor's way of playing in the time machine, playing and playing to kill his own body, it seems funny, but it is actually quite scientific. This is a grandmother paradox, and interested friends can understand it. Probably, your granddaughter in the future can't kill you now, and you can't kill your grandmother in the past.

9. Scarlet's speech can actually be understood as the villain's version of i have a dream. In 1968, Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated, and with the upsurge of the civil rights movement, it was very possible that this phrase became a buzzword at the time. It's a bit like in every issue of The Voice of China, the instructor has to ask: what is your dream?

10. I was surprised to hear and hear a familiar song. When the minions were flattering the "Tianshan Snowman", the group sang "make em laugh" in "Song in the Rain". This original song has some really wonderful long-shot dances in Song in the Rain, and it's varied in style and rich in performance.

11. In the battle for the crown, bob ran to the sword in the stone and picked up a sword to become the new king of England. This is to introduce the legendary story of King Arthur into the animation, and make up a seemingly explainable logic.

12. The Minions were on their way to find England. When crossing the cliff between Australia and India, it was like a small game "Slimy World"; the part of going to the United States even ridiculed the "fake human landing on the moon" often mentioned in conspiracy theories.

13. Another very unexpected scene that makes me want to laugh. Kevin was stepped on by beatles when he came out of the sewer with the other two live treasures, and it was accompanied by a very happy love me do tune.

14. The section about the coronation of the crown is also very good. Westminster Abbey (a bit like the French pantheon, which preserves the DNA of powerful people), in which Pope Paul VI crowned the queen. After Queen Elizabeth stepped down from the throne, drinking and arm-wrestling in a bar fits the image of an ordinary British guy in the movie.

15. Bob's name for the mouse seems to be in Chinese, sorry.

16. There are many Easter eggs in the final subtitle stage. do not miss it.

It should be said that the movie still has a lot of surprises, some small actions, small fights, and small cuteness. This part can be regarded as answering a lot of previous questions about the origin of minions, so in terms of plot, this prequel can be regarded as the journey of the minions to find their master. The whole film is simple and clear, textbook-level popcorn movie.
However, the plot setting lacks the family card of the despicable Chinese cute girl, as well as the excessive consumption of the minions in the comedy elements. The sensory stimulation is slightly worse than the previous two.
I'm glad that the director didn't use the babble language between the minions throughout the film, it would be more annoying to understand than to appreciate. It's like making a Pikachu animated prequel, from the beginning to the end of Pika Pika's cry, I feel like I'm going to be picked up.
The addition of other human scenes and the processing of Minions language closer to human language slightly make up for this. So, it's pretty decent, and it's a movie worth watching.

PS: The language of minions in it is still incomprehensible as always. I probably understand thank you in Spanish, and uno, and a few in English. I think there are occasional sentences in Chinese. I don’t know if I heard it wrong. The director is more annoying than Tolkien creating Elvish.

PSS: Consider listening to the soundtrack of the movie, a lot of classic 60s billboard hits:
