As a horror movie, this movie barely qualified. Because this movie is not scary except for the first time the big ghost appears there. And the electronic music soundtrack is a little hard for me.
But there's a lot of sparkle in this movie that I really like.
The first is the theme of the film. It is not difficult to see that this film is not an ordinary scary film. Remind teens not to be promiscuous and not to be too casual with their bodies is the theme.
The ghost that has been following, refers to AIDS. Once infected, it will always be followed. You think it will be better if you get infected, but it's not. This danger is always there, like a shadow.
The second is the poetic lines. TS Eliot's poems, Dostoevsky's "Idiot", and the heroine's monologue are all very beautiful, and the lines fit the theme very well. Worth the aftertaste.
Third, many of the shots are very beautiful and artistic.
In the end, the heroine's performance was actually quite good.
On the plot, my favorite place: the
playboy neighbor took the opportunity to sleep with the heroine. He actually didn't believe that the heroine said that there were ghosts following him. The way this ghost kills is through sex.
The childhood sweetheart slept with the heroine after a group of people "defeated" the ghost, and both of them felt nothing. Then the broken-hearted childhood sweetheart turned around and hooked up with a girl on the street. Whether the childhood sweethearts can't stop the temptation of sex in the end, or because they are afraid that they will eventually infect others.
The beautiful sister of the heroine has a different life style from that of the heroine. The heroine said that she loved her and would help her after an accident, but she did not believe her. Every time the heroine is chased, I ask the heroine what you are doing, what happened, and what you saw. She loves the heroine, but she doesn't understand the heroine and can't help her. (Maybe I'm over-interpreting it, maybe it's a reflection of a regular supporting role)
