The quarrel in the phone booth

Florence 2022-03-18 09:01:03

Originally thought this film was about the male protagonist who received a call from a phone booth at the wrong time, then got into trouble, went through various battles of wits, street gunfights, car chases, and finally ushered in the finale with the villain, which is the mainstream of those action shootouts.
But the movie is quite unexpected. On the one hand, it will disappoint the students who are looking forward to Tututu, because basically you can't even see guns. has been attracting visitors read on, curious how the story will develop, crazy powerful cannon's mouth, or is it dark in theory more powerful enemy, the two sides clash language so propped up the entire movie

overall Rating: 3.8 / 5.0 ( If you haven't seen the language confrontation work, you can watch it for fun)
Entertainment Index: 3.0/5.0 (the beginning is boring)
Aftertaste Index: 1.7/5.0 (Although the two sides started a war of words and swords , some dialogues were not very convincing and failed to give Shocking feeling)
Box office performance: The whole movie takes place in the same place, so the cost is not too high, 13 million US dollars. In the first week of North America, 15.02 million broke the cost line and entered the stage of making money. Thanks to the strong performance of 51.27 million overseas, the global box office surged to 97.83 million, which is a huge profit.

Because the movie was watched on the way to the food festival, so I put it on hold after writing a little, and now I don't have any feelings.

Discussing this kind of film too deeply will only contradict itself...Too many people pay attention to the so-called meaning, which makes me feel embarrassed...I think the story of this movie is very clear and the techniques are superb, and these are enough to give high marks. ... the other ones are just gimmicks that the plot needs

Is he Colin Farrell? I watched it a few years ago, and honestly didn't recognize it at the time. The finale is the same as any other Hollywood movie. Preparing for a sequel?

Phone Booth quotes

  • The Caller: Everybody does harm.

  • Stu: So you're an actor?

The Caller: Yes, one of your pathetic failed ones. You don't have to come find me and ruin me, I can't get work as it is. I've done some off-Broadway, some off-Manhattan, but that dried up. Now I wait tables, clean toilets, anything I can to make the rent. I'm a walking cliché.
