slightly disappointed

With the third AI-themed work, expectations are too high again.
It's not clear what happened to the robot AI, but it can graft the human soul all of a sudden. The jump is too big to accept. The growth of intelligent robots seems to be based on principles, but in fact there is no lower limit. Uncle Hugh is so swollen, he actually plays the villain, and he is so unscrupulous, but the image of a positive character has been given to a group of unknown people, which is really unconvincing.
Slightly disappointed.
PS Later, I learned that Charpie's dubbing is the protagonist of "The Ninth District", and I regained some goodwill a little.

Neil's films always have a wonderful setting, implanting self-awareness into robots, thereby exploring the relationship between machines and humans, and the impact of their surroundings on human nature. This kind of seeing the big from the small can be regarded as a continuation of the ninth district. However, as the plot develops, the theme of the film becomes more and more unclear, and the structure becomes loose. There are many unexplained clues and plot loopholes, and the ending is also a bit joyful. There are bright spots but not good enough, 3.5 stars~
