What right do you have to despise other people's lives?

There is no fierce conflict as a whole, and the plot development is relatively slow, but I don't know why it is so sad and my eyes are sore.
There are two points of sadness, the end of the paragraph in front of the bar mirror "you had it all and you threw it away, you dumb fuck!". There is also a large section of imagination at the end of the film and the last sentence "This life came so close to never happening." With norton's scarred face, it can't be more abusive...Monty saw those people when he was driving to prison The clips are also impressive.
There are expressions of humanity everywhere in the film, whether it is the ruins of 911 or the sad story of Monty himself, all of which are telling us that we must cherish life.
No matter what you do, other people's lives are going on steadily, how about you? Spending your life just to send yourself down this road to prison? What right do you have to despise other people's lives?

Very plain feature film. The monologue when the protagonist vents has the shadow of a fight club; the other monologues are very linguistic. The monologue is the highlight of this film
