Fitz: Defender of Lonely

I don't know why, and I
have always thought that the most distressing thing in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." is Fitz. From the broadcast of the drama to now, I have seen the world of conspiracy that has been turned upside down; I have witnessed the difficult growth of painful experiences. Fitz is my favorite and most admired character, he is like a lone warrior with a prancing horse and tassels, standing alone, defending the love and faith, light and happiness that he stands by.

I liked Fitz at first, just because he and Simmons are more simple and cute than other characters, like the only fresh existence in the whole depressing air. As a top scientist, Fitz-
Simmons has absolutely authoritative professional knowledge. When I see them "communicate" with a bunch of words that we don't understand at all, and others can only stare at it, I instinctively pop up. Adjectives such as "dumb" and "pure"
describe children. Indeed, as geniuses, they have lived with laboratories, instruments and scientific puzzles from the beginning, their worlds are complex yet simple, their lives are monotonous and joyful.

However, the reality is always difficult to do what you want. Panic about going out to work, overwhelmed by emergencies, and fear of gunfire, it is not difficult to see that Fitz, who has many auras but no actual combat experience, is a bit timid by nature, and is recognized as the one who needs to be protected. But when faced with the reality that Simmons may die, he who is the most anxious maintains the greatest calmness; when he accepts the task that may go nowhere, he who should be most worried continues to give everyone the greatest peace of mind. In the end, he protected the person he cared about most and completed the task perfectly. I think there's another self in Fizz's heart, an equally pure and powerful self, just
hidden deep inside, even the closest Simmons, before embarking on this perilous journey.

When peace is crushed by conspiracy, and a sinister crisis pours into their warm and innocent world, it is not known whether Simmons regrets taking "the best opportunity to travel around the world". As simple as they must have never thought that what they will face in the end is the "darkness" that has long been beyond their tolerance. Hydra's pervasiveness, S.H.I.E.L.D. is facing ambush from all sides, Skye is wandering between life and death, and the beliefs of the past are turned upside down overnight, all of which are so unexpected. When everyone gradually lost confidence and became confused, Fitz was glad that "we still have each other", he was still so simple and persistent. As long as everything he cares about and maintains is still there, then he still has everything, and it has the meaning of being strong for it.

Ward's betrayal stabbed everyone like the sharpest knife, but everyone quickly accepted this reality. And Fitz was heartbroken, he couldn't accept this "ridiculous" fact, and he even found various reasons for Ward to defend him and deceive himself. This just shows how deeply he was injured. As sensitive as he is, he cannot be trusted. Once he has won his trust, he will be convinced and go through fire and water. He thought they had lived and died together so many times, he thought they were friends of life and death. But the actual punch made his heart and blood blurred. In a way, she is a tragic and great character.
Love doesn't know where to start, it goes deep. Fitz's feelings for Simmons can be seen at a glance. Follow without abandoning, have a tacit understanding, like-minded world, no matter how you look at them, they should be a natural couple. However, Fitz, who is shy and not good at expressing, is like all young teenagers, facing the girl he likes, he can't wait to give everything but hide his love in his heart. Between life and death, just as he gave his heart and everything to her, he chose to leave his life to Simmons. He also made the most affectionate and sad confession in his life. Yes, he is not good at words, but he has achieved the rarest eachother in the world. For him, the loss of a loved one was far more painful and unbearable than death.
And it's worth it to give everything to defend the love of your life.
If separation is the worst ending Fitz can imagine, it is the reality he faces after waking up that makes him feel the drama of reality. He thought the end
Either he died for the sake of his love, or he woke up and his lover was married. But when he woke up, he was faced with the embarrassing situation that King Xiang had a dream and the goddess had no intention. He lost the genius he had always been proud of and became what he thought was a poor cripple for everyone. At this time, all his once dependent and support - Simmons - had left behind an unsophisticated lie that turned his back on him (at least he thought so), leaving him alone
to face his devastated life. In those dark days without Simmons, he could only hide in the corner like a wounded little beast, licking the wounds alone, and healing alone.
As optimistic as he is, in those days full of suffering, he has been trying hard to restore himself to the one he once was. As if their lives could go back to the way they were before, S.H.I.E.L.D. wouldn't be a street rat, and Simmons wouldn't
leave. He thought it was his own incompetence that let Simmons down, and the incomprehension and inferiority of others distorted himself, made him feel completely out of place, and made him mistakenly think that everyone was discriminating against
him. He began to become withdrawn, even fanciful, imagining that Simmons, who had a good heart, was still by his side to rely on him.
Not being able to live in reality and struggling in fantasy is a sad and bleak
thing . But as kind as he is, the empathetic Simmons imagined in his mind just shows that Fitz still understands his companions deep in his heart, and is still eager to return to them. Otherwise, he wouldn't be
nostalgic for "bus" over and over again. He is nostalgic not only for the "home" that they once gave them unlimited shelter, but also for those family members who were once intimate. His stubborn nostalgia is not a kind of lonely defense. Everyone
has walked out of the haze of the past, only he is still nostalgic, nostalgic for the beauty that should not be dissipated although it has passed.

The arrival of Mack and his appreciation for Fitz brought him back a lot of confidence and pride. When he finally broke through his inner karma and accepted the fact that Simmons left, and calmly accepted the injustice of fate and his different self, Simmons came back with the executed one. Fitz must have mixed feelings at the moment of meeting.
Knowing that Simmons was going undercover, Fitz must have hatred in his heart, hating her deceit. She would rather fight alone than fight alongside him. He thought she had abandoned him and betrayed their once trust and
tacit understanding . But love always outweighs hate. In the first complaint against her, the worry for her far outweighed the resentment against her. Even if you can't love, you can pretend to let it go. He only hoped to be by her side to protect her and assist her. As proud as he is, he still has no hesitation in the face of unrequited love, and is willing to yield to humbleness.
Trip's death completely shattered Simmons' desire and yearning for unknown technology. The fear of alien power tightened everyone's nerves, and S.H.I.E.L.D. But Fitz, who knew about Skye's change, chose to hide it for her. Because Skye is his family, the person he wants to protect, and
he sees his own shadow in Skye, they are all incomprehensible because of uncontrollable changes, abandoned loners, nothing better than himself Willing to suffer the consequences.
Whether it's hiding everyone or
arguing after the incident, Fitz has been trying very hard to win everyone's support and defend Skye, even at the point of refuting Simmons. He fought alone like that,
drifting away from his comrades again alone. After too many intrigues and partings, they have all changed a lot. Only Fitz, in the face of people who do not know when to take root in his heart, he is more affectionate and sincere than anyone else, and he will
never forget his original intention and wait carefully despite the vicissitudes of life.
Like a sensitive phoenix, Fitz can spy on your fragile sadness, quietly heal your broken heart with its precious tears, sing happiness and light with the most beautiful elegy, but keep the sadness to yourself. No one knows the variables of the future, but I believe that he, even if Qianfan is alone, will still be the most cherished, stubborn and strong defender of light and hope.
