April Film Review (1)

The second part of the Red Dead trilogy is good-looking, but somewhat inferior to the first and third.
It was only before I found out that the main character Westwood turned out to be the coach of Million Dollar Baby, an old drama bone.
Everyone gets old, alas. If you often find an actor or director you like, you have to search for his movies and watch them.
Although the Red Dead series is a film in the 1960s, it still seems to be relished now. Cowboys, gunfights, bounty hunters, robbers, give us a big western drama. Wisdom and courage, hearty.
A classic western, well worth a watch.

  • Nino: Slim. A change of plan.

    [he beckons Slim over]

Slim, member of Indio's gang: What is it Nino?

    Nino: Indio wants you to...

[he stabs Slim and releases the prisoners]

Nino: Here are your guns without bullets. And listen don't let Indio find you both around.

  • El Indio: When the chimes end, pick up your gun. Try and shoot me, Colonel. Just try.
