When I watched it for the second time, I kind of understood where this heartbreak came from. A dream, destroyed, is such a heartache, and people who watch it will be so heartbroken. General Qiao has a firm goal and will do anything to achieve it. He is Bole, who found all the Maxima, but was abandoned by all the Maxima. When he was asked by the programmer: What idea do you have? When he was said by Cameron: You are not the future. It was a total denial of everything he had created. If he hadn't really fallen in love with Cameron, he wouldn't be so lowly. Facing the reality, he had to compromise and agreed to remove the interactive system, so when he saw the Macintosh, he said the sentence: It speaks. The loss in his eyes was clear. He understands that he's missing an opportunity to become a true giant and that he can't achieve what he wants to be.
