After watching the film, most people will have two reactions: 1. Stupid 2. Admiration for director Tsui Hark is too good! The director with super-strong artistic skills and camera usage once again fully used his talent and imagination in "Di Renjie II". It's a film where the director's charisma outweighs the actors' performances. The actor's acting skills are quite satisfactory, and there is no delay. What's great is the director, screenwriter, art and post-production. When I saw Tsui Hark's sketches of cities in Tang Dynasty for "Di Renjie 1", he used his pen to be exquisite and imposing, and I worshipped directly. This time it's even more powerful, and the city's picture has been turned into 3D in the later stage. The appearance of the water monster and the turtle emperor turned the movie into a slightly magical color. Tsui Hark focuses on characters and plots, and is not completely addicted to the display of scientific and technological achievements. Done right, this is where the film succeeds. The downside is that the performances of the actors are relatively average. Feng Shaofeng is not bad, his martial arts movements are one meter stupid, but he has never practiced martial arts and is not forced. It's a movie you can buy a ticket to the theater and you won't regret it.
