I would rather forget you with a smile, than remember you sadly

When the fascinating dialogue flows out on the dark and silent screen, at this moment, I know that love has nothing to do with youth and old, abject poverty and wealth. By keeping the stunningness of the moment cherished in the shuttle years, love can extend infinitely and never lose.

Tim wasn't amazing enough when he first came out, at least he was a bit less handsome and a bit more childish than Mary, who was innocent and beautiful. But this one is just right, from the disappointment of his first love, to the light in the eyes of Mary for the first time, to the tense and sweetness of being a father, to the relief of his father’s goodbye, Tim’s eyes are always telling. The most sincere emotion, and this emotion settles a little bit with time travel, and merges into the most gentle eyes that a man can have.

What moved me the most during the 2 hours of watching the movie was not Tim’s silly but persistent passionate pursuit of Mary, but the scene near the end of the film: Mary and Tim already have a pair of daughters, Mary hopes to regenerate A child, and Tim’s father has passed away at that time. Once a new life comes, Tim will not be able to travel back to the old time to see his father. He said, It was the thoughest decision of my life. Saying yes to the future meant saying goodbye to my dad, forever. There are too many things in my mind at this moment. It is The Last Goodbye, the theme song of the Hobbit's end. It is the poem "Once Upon a Time Slow" by Mr. Mu Xin. It is an Irish poet. Yeats said emotionally about "When You Are Old"... This man who took my hand across the rugged mountain road, this man who solemnly told me that I could travel in time when I was 21, watched me grow up like a gentleman throughout my life. A man like him is my father! Now I will say this last goodbye, and bury you in the memory that will fade away, because ah, I would rather forget you with a smile than sadly remember you.

About Time quotes

  • [Tim and Mary are in bed]

Mary: So not such a bad day after all?

Tim: No. It was pretty good, really. Very good day, actually, as it turns out.

Mary: Well, that's a relief. Because it had been a very bad day, I thought I might have had to have had sex with you to make up for it.

    [she turns the light out]

    Mary: Goodnight.

Tim: [he is lying blatantly and Mary knows it] It was a very, very bad day. It went very badly. I got fired from my job. And then I killed a man.

[she turns the light back on]

Mary: That is a very bad day.

    Tim: It's terrible.

Mary: Yeah, the worst day ever. I'm so sorry.

    [they start to make love]

  • [Mary wants another baby]

Mary: I just thought that maybe it was time for the insurance baby.

    Tim: What?

Mary: In case one of them is really smart. We don't want the other one to feel stupid their whole life. And if we had a third one then we could have *two* happy dummies. What do you think?

[Tim realises that once another baby is born, he will never be able to go back to a time before that]

Tim: [voiceover] It was the toughest decision of my life. Saying "yes" to the future meant saying "goodbye" to my dad - forever.
