absurd western humor

The West is always a place with a variety of film themes, and the desolation and wildness here have given creators a source of creativity. This comedy is no exception. The plot is relatively conventional, in line with traditional comedy routines - a self-defeating counterattack by a diaosi. How important it is to learn a foreign language, not only to kill the western bully who bullied the heroine for a long time, but also to finally bring back the wild beauty. It has to be said that MacFarlane is indeed a material for burlesque, and he has mastered the absurd humor of the West very well. However, Amanda Seyfried and Charlize Theron, the two former beauties, are a little old, and they always seem to lack enthusiasm in comedy performances. Also, is there a lot of cameos? Just the right amount. Too many places will make it a bit stiff and not very pleasing to the audience. For example, Django's easter egg at the end of the film is purely for cameo appearances.

    Ruth: You've never seen one?

    Edward: It's, uhh, it's, it's that, right?

Ruth: Oh yeah, it's this, it's like from here to here.

    Edward: Oh.

Ruth: But this is just the outside, there's these folds.

Edward: Okay, I'm gonna close the bible now.

  • Edward: Hey, dude, you really shouldn't drink and horse.
