Strong modernity metaphor

Once I read IELTS Beth’s "The Mental State of the Time" in the library of the Department of Philosophy of Fudan University. At the end of the chapter, someone wrote the following paragraph in pencil:

"Madagascar contains a metaphor for the predicament faced by modern people: namely Under the premise that each of us as individuals cannot get rid of the factors of the times, more happiness in life means more and more disciplined order. In fact, this is not a new problem. Freedom comes with it. People step into the unknown and completely unfamiliar realm. And the self-fulfillment of the danger that may accompany it. This is a problem that has been realized during the Enlightenment. However, today we need to reflect on people’s The unconscious maintenance of the legitimacy of the times. This makes the ideological rule more disguised than in any previous era, and easier to perform its functions. Today, ideology is no longer a harsh preaching. Intimidation or order, but to provide you with a "happy" life. This is why postmodern thinkers are so consistent in emphasizing differences. The movie uses four animals in the park to reflect the state of people. In modern society, talents are The animals in the park, the orderly political, economic, and even educational and academic institutions, are just high-level parks for mankind. The old lady who walks with broken steps and hunched back is the spirit of the times that has emerged in modern society. The incarnation of, and the fearlessness of all natural objects is not passive resignation, but active conquest. Everything should be used by me, at my command, even the mighty lion, the king of beasts. This is in the movie. The second one is very vivid." After I

came back, I downloaded this movie, and I was curious that a cartoon could have such a depth. After reading it, I realized that most of the time was spent in laughter, the adventures of the four animals were all kinds of funny, and there was no time to really make these characters change. Perhaps people who have watched this film in theaters seldom think of the connection between this film and modernity. The screenwriters bury these feelings in humor and funny, and hope that one day they can make a film just for their feelings.

Damn... The inner lion is picking up customers...(~ ̄▽ ̄)~ I didn’t know him when I watched it (I’m self-respecting), I don’t really understand the highlights of this animation, or this kind of rougher similar to 3D I don't like the modeling things, but I like the big piece of meat that is always red and white!

Madagascar quotes

  • Marty the Zebra: Come on, Alex. Do you honestly think I intended all of this to happen? You want me to say I'm sorry? Is that what you want? Okay, I'm so...

    Alex the Lion: Shush!

Marty the Zebra: He just shushed me.

Gloria the Hippo: Look, Alex, you have to be more understanding...

    Alex the Lion: Shush!

Gloria the Hippo: Don't you shush me!

Alex the Lion: Do you hear that? Can't you hear that?

  • Gloria the Hippo: Okay, let's make a good impression on the people. Smiles, everyone. Let's get it together.

    [to Melman]

Gloria the Hippo: Is that the best you can do, Melman?

Melman the Giraffe: Oh, I'm not smiling. It's gas.

Gloria the Hippo: Okay, well, great. Let's make gas look good.
