[Spoiler alert] Unbroken, another good story was ruined by the movie

Unbroken, this title is very deceptive. At the end of the film, the audience sees the male protagonist reunited with his family with a bright face, plus the introduction of the prototype characters in a few simple sentences, the audience must feel that the male protagonist has a strong self-healing ability. After several years of SM Quickly returning to a normal life is worthy of being unbroken. But what is the truth? Where is the unbroken male protagonist, at most he has healthy limbs, and his heart should have been broken into glass slag long ago. The focus of the story should have been on the male protagonist's process of letting go of his hatred and walking out of the shadows, but in order to create an atmosphere of despair, Julie abruptly turned more than half of the film's length into a psychological horror film.
And what is the purpose of doing so? Is it just to bring psychological shock to the audience? If the goal is so simple, why do audiences need to pay to watch this thing in theaters instead of any other horror movie? The vast majority of audiences expect much more from it, only to be perfunctory for a long period of pointless psychological abuse something happened. When I walked out of the theater, I suddenly felt very shocked and touched people's hearts. Wake up from sleep, Why did I let Jolie spoon-feed me this crap?! This is an act of insincere rape of the audience's emotions.
Let's look at the character characterization. Western characters are masculine, righteous and unyielding, while Eastern characters are feminine and perverted like SM. This is a trick that has been played since the Greek-Persian period. Chinese audiences liked it because they were playing Japanese this time. Take a look at Spartan 300, at least the whole film is full of pecs and abs and masculine aesthetics, what's this about? Not to mention the subtext behind the movie, the only characters that seem to be portrayed in the whole chapter are the male protagonist Louie and the perverted "the Bird", but what about the good portrayal? Julie, you are very good at portraying... The male protagonist had a melancholy look on his face throughout the abuse, and he didn't even have a few lines. And the villain didn't explain the reason for the perversion in the end, which is a kind of unreasonable malice, only suitable for Disney cartoons, and should not appear in this kind of biographical film. What, you say he's perverted because he can't get a promotion? are you kidding me?
As a biopic, the film clearly falls short. The movie focuses on the most unnutritious parts of the whole article. After watching the movie, the audience knows nothing about the character of the male protagonist except that the male protagonist is sadistic. It can also be called a biopic, and you make any other biopic from ancient times to the present.
As a war movie, this movie focuses on the heroes of the US military and the perverts of the Japanese army. The depiction of the cruelty of war is there, but it does not point to the redemption of human nature. Rather than oppose war, it is better to obediently return to the ranks of anti-Japanese dramas. But when it comes to anti-Japanese... how about a thousand rides? What about tearing devils? It didn't even say XX.
As a horror movie, this film barely passes. The whole film tells how the male protagonist survived to the limit for nearly a month. After witnessing the death of his friend, he was caught by the Japanese army and locked up for a month and sent to a prisoner of war camp. Here he encountered the most terrifying pervert in the film, and was brutally abused, including sudden face slaps, fancy face slaps, face slaps, face slaps, lost the opportunity to cooperate with the enemy and become an announcer, and saw perverts and was beaten by comrades in arms. Face, slap in the face, slap in the face, slap in the face, the pervert was transferred away, and then was transferred away, see the pervert, slap in the face, slap in the face, smack down, slap in the face. It was wonderful.
As a small pornographic film dedicated to Christians, this film is relatively in place. It reflects the male protagonist's tenacious and unyielding spirit of being actively abused. Moreover, after being abused, he can still have mercy on all beings, turn his heart to God, and become a Virgin in one second. It is really tear-jerking and touching. It is thought-provoking, Amen.
As an adult SM film, this film has many highlights. The male protagonist has a good appearance, his muscles are not obvious but not exaggerated. It also includes a variety of advanced bridges such as feces picking, women's clothing, mutual abuse, and heart abuse. Unfortunately, there is a little more irrelevant content. What? You tell me this is a PG-13?
As far as the story goes, Louie's saga definitely has the potential to be turned into a biographical classic, but it's a pity that, even if the editing of the shots and so on is good, the serious imbalance of the plot structure and the paleness of the characters make this movie a complete s failure.
