Speaking of which, the bible has never said who the pharaoh in Egypt is, and there has been controversy over the archaeological conclusion, but Scott still decided to let Ramses lie down. LOL In the film, Ramses is a foodie, and half the time They are all chewing things, looking like a fool. In the face of the ten plagues and the pursuit of the Hebrews, Ramses' arrogance, conceit and stubbornness are vividly portrayed. On the contrary, Bell's Moses was not very good, and the part of learning about his life experience was a bit abrupt.
I don't know how much faith the ancients had in gods/beliefs. At least in the film, the Egyptians did not revere the gods very much, and the Hebrews even began to worship the Taurus when they left the country (no wonder the gods are arrogant...). Generally speaking, the events of the Exodus took place in the 18th to 19th dynasties of the New Kingdom. In the beginning, the Egyptians are still building the pyramids. I really want to complain. The movie is more resentful than IMAX. It's worth a look, but I don't want to brush it twice.
