In the
final scene of "Instinct 1" , it should be seen that the movie implies that Catherine is the murderer. Nick thought so at first, but in the end, his emotions overcame his reason, and he swayed between the facts he saw and his own reason. Bewildered by his own feelings, he made the final choice. Maybe when he killed Bess, he was not particularly sure that Bess was the murderer, but he blamed Beth in the wrong place at the wrong time. The death of his partner made Nick completely. Lost the ability to think. But from the substantial evidence given by the whole movie, it seems that many things are not good for Beth, such as the change of hair color, who is imitating who? Like why did Nelson check Beth a year ago? Like why there is so much physical evidence in Beth's house at the end. Of course, all of this can also be considered that she was framed by Catherine, because Catherine also knows Nick's file, if it is not what Beth said (this possibility is a little small), then it can only be said by Nelson, and in the end, if Beth killed man, why didn't you leave the stairs and show up in front of Nick? Why do you keep so much evidence, murder weapons and other things in your own home? With her relationship with Nick, it is not impossible for Nick to go to her house. If you put so many things in your own home, you are not afraid of being discovered?
