If this film is really in the way of science fiction, then half of it will inevitably give people the feeling of being unreasonable and uninteresting. In fact, the male protagonist who appears at the beginning of the film with a priest-like identity shows that the essence of the film is another kind of stereotype.
The extraterrestrial creatures refused to show their respect and did not allow evidence of the meeting, probably just to show the heroine who represents science an incomparable sense of superiority. It is not surprising that other earthlings who have no chance to be there in person are dreaming as heroines. What we believe with experimental evidence is the spirit of science; what we believe without experimental evidence at all is faith. Faith is not a bad thing; however, believing something does not prove that it exists. Of course, it cannot be said that it definitely does not exist. A sane society would put this kind of speculation on the sidelines.
This film, of course, does not think that these are irrelevant. This is purely a question of value orientation. Does your choice in this regard affect the actual situation? For example, would your life be happier and more meaningful if there were "really" species with extraordinary abilities that could treat Earthlings as ants. Or, to put it another way, if a pig was conscious and knew that it was being raised by a higher primate, how would its life in the pigpen be different.
The film uses space technology to hang mutton in a lot of space, but inside it is dog meat that has been outdated for thousands of years since the time of Plato. The contrast is too great, and due to this limitation, it is difficult for the film as a whole to be any better. If it's not the hero and heroine, it's really not worth the time to watch. Finally, it is worth mentioning that even if it is set according to the plot, there are ways to prove the heroine's experience with scientific methods. Specifically: Let the alien creatures help solve the economic problems of the earth, so that money is no longer a problem. From now on, anyone who has doubts can go on the roller coaster on that alien machine. It should be very thrilling.
