This movie should be regarded as one of Wu Yusen's masterpieces. A good director must first choose actors. The right actors are the key to the success of the film. It is said that the two male protagonists initially identified by Paramount Pictures are Stallone and Arnold. Although these two are definitely powerful actors, they feel that there is too much masculinity and insufficient femininity. Cage and John Travolta, both of whom director Wu Yusen finalized, are really suitable. After all, there are a lot of "perfect" performances.
Really good actors are grateful when they play good people, and they gnash their teeth when they play bad people. Both Cage and John did it.
When he first appeared on the stage, Cage’s villain performed a three-pointer, especially the windbreaker and black sunglasses when he first got off the car, as well as the arrogance of using the dragon head to hold the money, which is a full-fledged badass image.
The most impressive part of John's interpretation of bad guys is the period when he went to prison to visit. The half of his face covered by the newspaper couldn't hide his smirk.
Although this film has a slight flaw in the plot, for example, Cage climbed to the top of the prison and found that the prison was originally deep in the sea, but did not explain how he returned to the land, but there are also breakthroughs different from the content of the previous movies. There may not be a scenario where the police’s wife is taken advantage of by bad guys, but this film gives the audience a different result, which is closer to the facts. It is an improvement instead of treating the audience as an idiot.
