When Koreans aim at the ocean

My perception of South Korea has always been bad. The main reason is not the rumors like "declaring that so-and-so is from South Korea" concocted by the Internet, but because they don't know who they are.

The film is based on Li Chenggui's mutiny after returning to the army on Weihua Island, taking over the power of Wang's Koryo, and then claiming to be a minister to Zhu Yuanzhang, begging for the national title and the national seal.
It can be seen that the directors and the others are deeply regretful about such a historical event, because, in this way, their king has become someone else's name, and even the name of their country is given by someone else.
But in fact, before the US military entered, or Japan annexed Korea, or Chongzhen was hanged, the Koreans did not feel that there were "our king" and "their emperor".
In fact, Zhu Yuanzhang looked down on Li Chenggui as a person, so he gave him the title of the country, but did not make him king, so that Li Chenggui went to the court and had to claim that he "knows the state affairs of Korea". It was not until Li Fangyuan, Emperor Taizong of the Joseon Dynasty (that is, the one who got the national seal in the back of the film), that Zhu Yunwen established him as the king of the Joseon Dynasty, that is, the first king of the Joseon Dynasty.

In the film, the emperor summoned the Korean envoys, not only the Mandarin is so poor, but also in an open space, and after the end, he even used "Hongwu 1392" in the imperial edict, which can be seen as a joke in the Chinese character circle at a glance, and it is really enough. .
Of course, this is comedy, and making people laugh is the goal, and there is nothing wrong with it. But you are a broken boat, why are you provoking whales? Or use a rocket to shoot, is it a fool? Then, it was really pitiful. After that, I put a flag on the whale, "North Korea" (in fact, I wanted to put a Taiji flag on it?), I was really happy.
After the brain hole is opened, the story officially begins.
On one side is the male bandit who robbed the caravan and ran into officers and soldiers, and on the other side was the female pirate who expelled the chief and led the pirate ship by himself. The connection between them comes from Doubi Liu Haizhen. This guy is a good actor, and he has enough jokes, especially in the part where he described the whale to the bandit, it really made me laugh miserably.
Of course, what really connected everyone was whaling.
At first, I was full of anticipation, wanting to see how the ancients hunted such behemoths, but when I saw such accurate crossbow arrows and such powerful firearms, I finally realized that a movie is a movie.

Of course, as a comedy film, there are many interesting bridges in this film, such as Xiao Yao Liu Haizhen's misunderstanding, causing the male protagonist to sway in front of the officers with his rope dropped; becoming a "big roller" waterwheel; Swearing at the pirates and driving the ship between two pirate ships; the hero and heroine standing in the sea "swimming" are all serious jokes. However, the question is, what about the ocean adventure theme?
The proportion is slightly less, and when I look at the title again, it turns out to be called "The Bandit Running to the Sea". No wonder, I have always been obsessed with the land.
However, it is said that this is the first marine adventure theme in South Korea. Even if the description of pirates is not enough, and there are many imitations, the selected theme is also biased towards national politics, but it is a solid step after all. And our filmmakers don't seem to be very interested in such subjects, as if we already have enough stories on land, and the ocean is too far away from us.

But I don't think Koreans are more interested in the ocean, and the box office of this film, in addition to the novelty of pirates, is all about the material of Lee Sung-kyung and the generals who rebelled against him.
Just like my article is not just talking about this film, this film is not simply showing the mind of embracing the ocean, but to please themselves.
When half of North Korea became South Korea, their backer became the United States, and China was poor and weak, whether it was Chinese characters or historical views, even the names of "North Korea" and "Seoul" made them feel Some kind of negative emotion, and then abandoned it. As a result, the Hangeul (Korean), which was originally used to assist in learning Chinese characters, became a necessity for national independence.
Their insightful people also ran to Li Chenggui and told Li Chenggui that they could protect the people. They are their kings, and the reason is that Zhu Yuanzhang asked North Korea to ask for 500 palace maids and 200 eunuchs... Not to mention whether there really are palace servants who are used to "pay tribute" in the tribute, in ancient times, the king did not The possibility of respecting human rights.
In fact, there are no pirates in North Korea, so why go through the gang and change history beyond recognition? Just like the so-called national seal, since there is no king, how can we give the national seal? Taking a step back, even if the National Seal is really lost, why bother if you are either begging for one or forging one yourself? It's not a national jade seal. Look at Zhu Yuanzhang, he wanted to pass on the jade seal of the country for a lifetime, and he still sat firmly in the emperor's seat.
Therefore, what is used to earn attention, the so-called source from history, makes the film less simple and impossible to scrutinize. It just vented their dissatisfaction to the Koreans and muddled up some nationalism.
The descendants of the Koreans who once regarded themselves as a little China have finally "created" their own civilization with pinyin characters. After sovereignty and nation became life-and-death concepts, the history of the past has become a black history, and all favors and sufferings have become "oppression by others".
Yes, in the new rules of the game, the losers are all on the same line. But only those who can recognize themselves will not lose their stamina.
Who is the enemy? "Nation" is a late concept, and there is still a lot of room for it. In the past, the Huaxia nationality evolved into the Han nationality. Now, the Chinese nation is not only the Han nationality.
The more you want to cut off the relationship, the more you want to divide the family property, the more it shows that the blood is connected. Even if you regard me as an enemy, you are still siblings.
When Koreans look to the ocean and make such a film, I thought, why do we "explain our ambitions in ancient costumes"?
