desert island survival

When I found a movie with good reviews, I generally don't like to see the introduction of the movie, it feels a little mysterious. When I saw Mathew McConaughey's cover, I couldn't help but look down. I didn't really care about this actor before. I saw a movie before with Kate Huddson playing a golden-collar dude, or I didn't like that type of man, and I thought any good looking man could play it, and he played in Sex and the City. Myself, I even find it quite annoying, so I don't have a good impression of him.

The final goodwill came from the Dallas Buyers Club. As a man and an actor, you must let yourself experience a transformation like a phoenix nirvana, a chrysalis into a butterfly, in order to become an immortal. With such an experience, when looking at people and encountering things, it should be from a top-down perspective. Later, I watched True Detective. To be honest, the first three episodes were really unbearable. For a super fan of American dramas like me, I gave up after watching it a few times. Really watch it because there is really nothing else to see. However, the story climaxes one after another, and Mathew also has a god-like existence, and he begins to be obsessed with this man.

I'm not a film critic, and I'm not good at picking. I like watching movies, stories one after another, some experienced by myself, some by others, some in my own imagination, some to enrich my own imagination, and more. I am more like a voyeur, all kinds of feeling.

I really like this story. Two children found a boat hanging from a tree on an island near their home. It didn't say how the search boat was hung on the tree. For the children by the river, this was the treasure they found. Then met a man named mud. At first I thought this story would be about two children falling into the mud. As a general audience, it is still too unimaginative.

Elis is a boy with a heart of gold, and so is Mud, who cherish each other and be good friends. He should grow up to be a good man in the future. Not much to say about the story, it's wonderful.

4.5 A very good Southern movie, much better than last year's Southern Beasts. The essential elements of Southern stories about growth, family, and the Mississippi River, tree houses and other elements seem to return to Capote's South. In the world, the entire narrative of the film is not rushed, but unfortunately the ending is not neat enough, and the point is too obvious.

The film is very rough. The performance of two little boys is very good. With a young adult, the so-called love is a fantasy of men at different ages. In addition, you have to put up with a long foreshadowing.

Mud quotes

  • Neckbone: I knew it. I told you that dirty son of a bitch was trouble. Did you tell them where he is?

Ellis: No, that's why I called you. He needs to know people are looking for him.

Neckbone: You think he doesn't know that already? Jesus, Ellis! Why do you even think he's on that island?

Neckbone: Ellis, I'm serious! We don't know who this guy is.

Ellis: He loves her, Neck. He told me.

Neckbone: I don't give a shit who he loves!

  • Ellis: He's not dangerous.

Neckbone: [sighs] Sounds like a shitload of state troopers thinks differently.
