After explaining the relationship between the characters and the storyline, this group of people will go to sea. Among them, fishing for sharks is a small ups and downs, and then the perfect storm behind it comes. I always felt that the fishing boat was beaten to death by the typhoon, but in the end it was able to overcome the typhoon. Because before they had an oath, let us believe that they can overcome the typhoon. But at the end of the story, they failed. They were all buried at the bottom of the sea. I think the ending of the story is good, because Hollywood movies are cookie-cutter "man wins," but this one doesn't. So this movie is good. Of course, this is an adaptation of a true event, so the ending cannot be changed.
Just because it was the end of the tragedy, I felt that the fishing boat had been battered by the typhoon for so long before it capsized. Naturally, I felt it was reasonable. Some film critics said, "You can live if you do evil, but you can't live if you do it yourself." I don't think this is right! That wasn't "self-inflicted", it was the situation at the time. If the freezing equipment hadn't been broken, they could have escaped the storm, but because of this situation, they thought of making more money and took risks. The general fluke mentality, of course, was also because of their fishing boat, the previous harvest was not good, I've always wanted to catch more big fish. Various reasons resulted in the misjudgment of the storm, which resulted in the loss of all crew members.
After watching the movie, I still feel it. In one part, the captain weathered the storm and climbed onto the mast with oxygen welding, cutting off the anchor. Dude, I used to do oxygen welding with a master in the factory. When I watched that part, I didn't worry about the captain falling to the bottom of the sea, but I was afraid that the fire would burn the captain.
In fact, the whole movie is very simple, it is the story of going out to sea and fishing and encountering a storm. But fishing is also for living, earning money to live. If there is any other ability, who needs to take this risk.
