Los Angeles Confidential

The two-hour film began to exert its strength less than half an hour before the opening, dragging the audience into the water, and when the case seemed to be over, the audience was already dragged a little tired (because there are too many clues) At the time, the plot turned back and forth again and again, and this time, because of the large amount of foreshadowing in the front, the old clues plus the new clues made the intensity stronger and more fierce, and it brought the audience an infinite movie-watching enjoyment. If the first half of the audience can still participate as a crime solver, the second half of the audience can only honestly be outsiders, because the development of the plot has exceeded the general experience of watching movies. The relationship between the main characters is also shifting along with the development of the plot. The center of gravity of the film has been moving. The tension has not broken yet, and the tension has formed again, which is unpredictable.

There has never been a movie that allows me to pause frequently during the movie (usually I like to watch the movie coherently), or even go back to the relevant passage to find clues in the lines; nor has a movie let me during the movie. I was so excited that I wanted to hit the wall (in fact, I really meant it), because the plot was so unexpected, I admit that my brain has not allowed Hollywood to evolve to an advanced stage. When all the dust settles, those wonderful lines, outstanding acting skills, complicated plot...... all let me remember for a long time.

Lana Turner: Get away from our table!

Ed Exley: Shut up! A hooker cut to look like Lana Turner is still a hooker.

    Johnny Stompanato: Hey!

Ed Exley: She just looks like Lana Turner.

Jack Vincennes: She *is* Lana Turner.

    Ed Exley: [stunned] What?

Jack Vincennes: She *is* Lana Turner.

[Lana throws a drink in Ed's face]

Captain Dudley Smith: Call me Dudley.

Bud White: Dudley... what do you want?
