The huge shock brought by "sea fog"
If there is only one word to describe "sea fog", it is "shock". It stimulates every nerve of the audience all the time from the picture, the content and even the staying power.
In the early morning of September 4th, I just arrived in Seoul. After I arrived at the Ta Hotel, I immediately asked the boss about the release time of Sea Mist. He said that because it had been broadcast for a month, there were only 2 theaters left to broadcast, and one was in the clock. Wulu, one is far away from Seoul, and it will only be broadcast once a day, and the paintings will be changed in less than 2 days. Since I plan to go to Busan the next day, I can only watch it at 12 noon that day. The boss said that because it is an old movie, there is no need to book tickets! But when I stood in front of the ticket counter, I almost went crazy because there were only 6 seats left, mainly in the first and second rows. In the end, I selfishly let my friends sit in the second row, and I ran to the last row by myself. What was even more unexpected was that at the opening moment, the whole hospital was full!
This drama was rated as 19 banned, and you can see the reason by reading the synopsis. In fact, the audience was already mentally prepared to watch the sex scene, but they were still shocked when they saw the crew raised axes, kitchen knives, etc. high to chop the body into pieces. At that time, I also tightly covered my mouth with my hand, for fear that I would scream out of control. In fact, it's not only Dongzhi who doesn't want to kill people, even if others don't want to do it, until the captain threw an axe on the corpse from a distance, and blood splattered one of the crew members. , The people in the play and the audience were equally deeply impacted.
In the introduction of the story, it has been focusing on the great reversal of Dong Shik's thoughts. Of course, relative to Dong-sik's simplicity, other people seem absolutely impure, like lust, greed and bad temper. It is likened to the captain smuggling illegal immigrants for money, and the crew asking the female stowaways to provide sexual services in exchange for better treatment. On the contrary, everything the original Dong-sik did for Hong-mei was out of pity. So everyone else is bad? When all the stowaways were found dead, the captain sat on the deck silently, as if time had been frozen! But we can still feel his heavy heart, after all, killing 30 people is not funny, not just his trouble; it is the end of the whole team. How should he do it? He made a difficult decision to survive - to destroy all evidence. Even his crew felt unbearably cruel, but he had no choice, whoever stood in the way was his enemy!
Honestly no one is particularly bad in the movie, they just do what they want, including Dong Shik. Because of his sympathy for Hongmei, he did not pay attention to and take care of her with some evil thoughts. If this is a love story, the picture would be so moving, but unfortunately it is a game of life and death. Later when they have sex, he protects her with all his love because Dong-sik is so innocent. He begged the captain to let Hongmae survive because he would marry her, and when the captain refused him, Dong-sik started to use force with the rest of the crew, ran into the control room screaming for help, and jumped into the sea with Hongmae, all he thought was Just how to save her. Because of love, he fell into madness and put all moral values behind him.
What about red plums? Is he the only one who hasn't changed from start to finish? After experiencing the life-and-death struggle at sea, she was fortunate enough to drift on the beach. She woke up but left Dong Zhi who was still in a coma. Soon she ran to Jiyong again. I suspect that she told him from the beginning that she was smuggling to find her own brother. Already a lie. At first, he just repaid Dong-sik's favor with a kiss, but when they saw that the captain killed him because of the old crew's out-of-control, Hong-mei hugged Dong-sik tightly, kissed him, flirted with him, and finally had sex. thing. The general saying is that in the face of death, they deeply hope to do something to prove their survival, but I think it's more because Dongzhi is the only one that Hongmei can rely on at that moment, she cheated to take advantage of him, happened Sex is about grabbing his heart and increasing his chances of survival.
By the end of the play, six years after the tragedy, Dong-sik had become a site worker. One day when he went to eat in a small restaurant after get off work, he suddenly heard a very familiar voice. When he looked up, the scene shocked him. Hearing the voice and looking at the back, he already knew that Hongmei was feeding two little girls. Seeing this scene, I was about to cry too, Dong Shik was like a big loser, he lost everything after that great change, for love; he abandoned his partner, abandoned his principles, and even committed manslaughter! But what did he get in the end? Before, he didn't know the reason for Hongmei's sudden departure, and he could imagine and find tens of millions of reasons for her, but when he saw this situation, he collapsed. It turned out that she never fell in love with him, he was just a player on the chessboard. Chess! The rest of my life will be spent in pain, what a shame!
The deepest feeling that sea fog brings to me is
that we will never know what to do and what to do in the face of desperation.
In order to survive; we can completely change our face, this is the so-called human nature!
