Differences in ideology, ideological value and culture have created very different war films. And this "Lone Survivor" also follows the usual mode of the American personal hero center, and also adds a gimmick of moral torture. Of course, my assessment may not be right. It was adapted from a true story. The protagonist is now alive and his son is three years old.
Here's how the war happened: Four SEALs went to scout the Taliban base so that the follow-up team could complete the mission to kill "Osama bin Laden." Unexpectedly, when the four of them hid in the woods, they were discovered by local old people, teenagers, and children who ran sheep. After unpleasant deliberation, they decided to let the elderly and children go home. Also expect the Taliban to not know. But it didn't take long for the four of them to be surrounded by the Taliban. How brutal the mountain war was, blood and flesh were flying and shattered. The marksmanship of the SEALs is indeed accurate, but it cannot overcome the advantages of the large number of Taliban and the locals' familiarity with the mountains. When he was about to die, he was still unconvinced and said to himself: Let's go to a flat place to fight them and kill them all. As a result, four of them died and three of them died, and the helicopter that came to rescue them was shot by rockets and died. It's a pity that those muscular men hadn't even landed to cast their fists, and the wine and flesh were flying. Another team member was rescued in the woods by a local man who, along with the villagers, came to protect him from being killed by the Taliban. In the end, when his companions came to rescue him, he naturally became the lone survivor of the mission.
The modification of the plot scenes is naturally indispensable. But too much modification will make people feel like fake fights. It's obvious that he wants to kill Xiaoqiang, so what's the use of waving the flag and shouting? As a result, not only was he beaten by a dog, but Xiaoqiang was also not hit. But at the end of the film, when there are photos of prototypes and Afghans, it is discovered that the story of American soldiers being rescued by Afghans is true.
For us, it doesn't matter if he is real or not, as long as he looks good and wonderful. So, I still recommend this movie released last year, The Lonely Survivor. There are tragic and compact war scenes, and there are also many handsome men you know. But compared to the thin red lines, deer hunters, and tropical thunders that I liked before, the Lone Survivor's heat is still a little worse, and compared with the bomb disposal unit, it has been decorated a bit.
