A war film is by no means a good war film if it does not raise the theme to an anti-war level. This is nothing more than a movie that promotes the spirit of the U.S. military. To put it bluntly, it is the American version of the great cause of national founding. Our army is tearing apart the devil; and the glorious deeds of the US military are all over the world, from saving Ryan in Normandy, saving the Black Eagle in Somalia, saving the compatriots in Tehran, and saving the people of Afghanistan.
The first episode, Pot Cover, is a dark humorous film that strongly satirizes American military operations. Many people even compare it to Kubrick's all-metal casing. The reason why the audience likes the pot cover is because of his straightforward language, which sharply points out the confusion and disappointment of the American soldiers in the Gulf War. And I ask this "Don Michael Paul". If you want to make a GI movie, why the fuck is it called Pot Cover 2! If you change the name, it may be a good American soldier movie. And if you want to call it "pot head". Then the audience wants black marines, black humor, sarcasm, and no shooting.
I really don't know what the director was thinking. Because there are too few Muslims in the first episode, so there will be Afghan soldiers and Taliban in the sequel? Since there was no murder in the first episode, the sequel has to kill a lot of people? Since they didn't do anything in the first episode, the sequel is going to save a pretty Afghan girl? The film is called "Pot Head 2" and it only continues the earthy tones of the previous film.
