When can I see life clearly when I grow up

Life is impermanent, let alone a boyhood that cannot be grasped by himself. After relocating again and again, the parents were divorced. In the vocal or silent protests, before they reacted, sections of my little past were irresistibly erased. Suddenly, the boy who stared at the sky without worries had already crossed his ignorance and was confused with life. But this is not just about the growth story of the teenager, it is about everyone, time and life never let anyone go.

Even a mother over forty years old, after a long time of pondering, can only cry desperately and still know nothing about it. There may be no end to growth, it is a lifetime of penance, only because the answer to life is so vague.
So what is the answer and the truth? Does life or life have such a clear meaning? Why is it still not clear after 12 years of accumulation of fine and plain time? If it is so difficult to explore, how to grasp the way forward?
"It's always right now." maybe.

Watching the boy grow up by himself, watch The story began as if Ethan Hawk, who had escaped from "Before Sunset", slowly became what he is now in the same story. It is a very magical thing. This is the power of time and the power of movies.
Except for "Before Midnight", I have never expected a movie so much. From the indescribable inner ups and downs when I saw the trailer for the first time to the sound of the Yellow music in the opening of the feature film, I know that this man who is always making history has once again lived up to his expectations. This is Linklater's power.
But in the final analysis, what hits my heart is not the story of the boys in the movie, but my own past. That is the power of life.
What is life like? How to take pictures of life? like this.

--------------------------------

Let me go/I don't wanna be your hero/I don't wanna be your big man/I just wanna fight with everyone else
Your masquerade/I don't wanna be a part of your parade/Everyone deserves a chance to /Walk with everyone else

Robin Williams passed away today.
When I watched the movie last night and saw Mason finally say "seize the moment", what came to mind was the picture of "Death Poetry Society". When I saw the news this morning, the first thing I thought of was the lyrics of the above two Heroes. Life is so destined to intersect casually.
Whether it is "seize the moment" or "carpe diem", in addition to grasping the moment, another layer means being loyal to oneself. Don't give in to others' eyes, and be your true self. Although it is difficult, this may be the key to the answer.

The boyhood is over, the adulthood is coming, and the road of life has just begun. The search for the true meaning of life is endless, everyone is on the way.

Boyhood quotes

  • Samantha: [after leaving Bill's family for good] Why couldn't we take Randy and Mindy with us?

Mom: Because sweetie, I'm not their legal guardian, that would be kidnapping; it's against the law.

Samantha: Couldn't you talk to their mom?

Mom: I tried their mom, but I can't reach her.

Samantha: Well, what's going to happen to them?

Mom: [starts crying] I don't know...

    Samantha: Why are you crying?

Mom: Because I don't have all the answers.

  • Mom: [Mason Jr. and Samantha start fighting in the backseat] Hey! What's going on back there? Stop it! Put a barrier up! Come on, make a barrier with your pillow!

Mom: Okay, we're going to play a game: Whoever can stay quiet the longest wins. And, go!

[Samantha and Mason Jr. start tickling each other, instead]
